Well I got an OBD2 engine so, itll have to match. Will take a look tonight and then see what I can buy. Taking the car for a rolling road session on satruday so will see what the difference is between stock ECU this time and my home modded and remapped or chipped ECU. Dan

whats the best way of identifying the Firmware revision .etc is it printed on the chip itself or on the outside of the ecu box?

Is it possible to buy an ecu from a breakers, change the chip to a reprogramable one and then replace the ECU in my car with it? The reason I ask is that Id rather not screw up my ecu by fiddling so having a modified one seperately. Cheers Dan

Hi All I have recently aquired a new steering wheel for my Highline, its a BBS leather steering wheel with a wooden inlay that matches the gear knob and also has the gold leaf BBS lettering in the middle and it looks great. How do i go about taking the old wheel off and what happens about the airbag light? Dan

Hi Guys i have a 97 Highline and the cat is blowing, i was wondering of there are any known areas of weakness in the cat where it may leak from. I havent had a chance to look at it closely yet. Will a GTI Cat fit as standard or is the pipe dia different. Any Help would be appreciated. Dan
