  1. it from the main loom it gos to the fuse box, connect it back to the positive terminal
  2. yes you need vw ps fluid or the type they recommend as normal ps fluid will destroy the seals in your pump and rack
  3. if your rad pipes expand when the engine is turning over its because theres a head gasket leak and pressure builds in the pipes
  4. i drove one of the 2008 275hp S3s and all i can say is there very very impressive, there fast i mean first time i put my foot down i hit 130mph without thinking about it, i drive my vr everyday and i just dont think i could swap to a s3 the sound and the power delivery of the vr is just too fun the S3 is like a more refined, safer and probley faster car but it just dont give you the sense of speed like the vr. i dare to say the s3 felt like a big car too (heavy) if speed was the issue i would say turbo the vr as it would kill the s3 once your moving.

  7. lol the fronts dropped like mine, my rear is sitting like 50mm higher it allows for lift off overstear :-p, it sick the way the front gets really pointy when you drop it ant it?

  9. not that i know of, but if the servo has no vacuum it will have a huge decrease in power, also have a good look at the servo for any leaks or problems i imaging its something to do with that, and the vr6 brake are pretty good, they should stop the car with ease. also have you got abs?
  10. have you got the vacuum pipe from the intake to brake servo connected or is it split?
  11. i think i dropped mine by like 100mm or more and i dont rub but i started with a golf mk3 cl the arches may be different, and i have 10mm spacers on each wheel that might of helped, im on coilovers too so theres not much give on them ether.

  13. if you intend on keeping your NCB or plan on getting your first year this year you should get your car back off the insurers and strip the car for its running gear then find a golf with a blow gearbox or any car you want to put a vr6 in thats selling for cheep due to been broken and make a new one working vr6 car :-p, i picked up a golf gti in blue with mint bodywork and perfect seats for 100quid yesterday im sure you can do the same.
  14. i use 10w50 oil in mine and it runs smooth, probs swap that to 10w40 in winter though

  16. i think and i may be wrong but there something to do with the diagnostics for the immobilizer, and another thing i can tell you though is mine arnt connected to anything ether and my car dont cut out :-p

  18. if you go on ebay theres a few auctions for lpg, if your lucky you can get it done for under a grand
  19. the mileage dont come off the coil pack, its a sensor in the gearbox
  20. do you think they will be able to make a vrt LPG because if i turbo my car and get it converted to lpg it would be a sick Eco friendly rocket lol, in theory they should be able to put it on any car.
  21. well there meant to be in good working order, fully working but used, i got them for 97quid so i didnt think i done too bad there was only me and another guy who were bidding so the price didnt shoot up, tbh though this is just me trying to have a first go at making turbo manifolds and short runners and for me to want to get started i need two turbos
