Hi all, Have just purchased my first VR6 nad it's covered 137k from new on 1995 'M'plate. Have seen some with big miles and one currently on EBAY on a R plate with 243,000 miles on it. Just interested to know what miles your's has covered and have you encountered any major probs??? Cheers!

Hi All, I've just got my first VR6 a 1995 'M' plate dragon green 5 door model, 137k on the clock and 2 owners from new. Full history, new gearbox and clutch, Recent head gasket and head skim, new coil pack, all the usual things that go have been done. Bought it from a guy who runs a VW specialists and is a mechanic., it is bog standard and the tining chains sound nice and quiet on tick over etc. Is there anything that i need to be aware of ownIng a VR6??
