    hi dose any one know how to make a vr6 quicker iv got a kn air filter and straight through exhaust ? and how cheap is it to turbo ??

    hi iv got a seat ibiza with a golf vr6 engine in it it runs a1 and pulls well but when left for a while it takes a while to prime up i was told when i got the car it was still the 8v pump what other pu p would sort this ? i may be thought a mk5 golf v5 or 1.8 turbo any idears ?

    when i did my chains mine started to leak so i tuck it off and sealed it with sealer and its not leaked since

    hi i had the same thing turned to be the chains if thats the case there dear to have do ne i beleave i did my own theresay it cost about 700 to do

    yea i put that in before i turned it over by hand when i put it togther it was tight the slak was at the tensioner side its when i turned it by hand it showed slack at places then gos tight as it tuns to the tensioner will it go tight as the tensioner fills with oil ???

    is there any one who nos about 2.8 vr6 engines as iv put new chains tensioners and guides on and when a put top cover and tensioner the is no slack and when i turn it buy hand it gos slack on top then tight ? is this untill the top tensioner is full off oil the bottom is mint helppppp

    i get the chains and guides today £105 inc vat so i hope i should have it in and running today or tomorrow or should say tonight as im at work today ill keep u informed

    clutch is new not by me i would off done chains at same time and i think 7 is heavy really plus bits id do it for 400 plus parts its not that bad

    no its ready to take chains out im doing out side my house i dont have a houst here three off us got it out do u no how much a chain kit is ?

    hi up date on my rattle problem its chain thats slack well how a garage can charge 700+ to do them as iv got mine out and striped in 5 hows in the street fair enough i work in a garage im a mechaic for 17 years but its not that hard for some one who wants to try

    hi iv put it to gether the chain gos slack on top then when i turn it over it gose tight dose thet sound like the chain as streched ?

    its top end nosie the car runs mint its got power and its been like this for a few weeks iv read a bloke said to get a tin with oil in it and put the tensioner in plunger end down the release slowly to fill with oil and do it a few time s what do u think ?

    hi iv taken my top chain cover of to see if there is any sighns off wear as when i bout the car i was told the chain and guides was done it all looks good i put new tensioner on it every thing looks good any i dears what would make the rattle nosie its bad as the car gets warm first thing on a morning for about 2mins its ok then rattles like a cam chain iv read that they do make a rattle noise any way but how true is this the car runs a1 with power any idears ???

    hi iv got a seat ibiza with a 2.8 vr6 lump witch as just started to make a rattl from the box side iv replaced the tensioner and its the same is it common and dose any one have a chain and guides if needed around north yorkshire to sell the nosie is top but will do both thanks andy
