  1. Well I have one fuel hose connected to the fpr then that hose comes back out into the fuel rail. I got a hose connected to the inlet nipple by the throttle body going tto a T piece connecting to fpr and dump valve.
  2. hi guys ECU is chipped for the 440 injectors basically i bought the running gear all in one and have fitted to my vr6, so i havent changed anything from when it was in the other vr it came out off, which it ran fine in..... i have reduced the exhaust from 3" to 2.5" as well, dont no if that makes a difference. here is engine before http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_IZBEA5ZepA&feature=related here is engine now http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L93EQSqkKRo
  3. Vr turbos are the nuts!!! it has a chipped ecu but dont no what one Has 440 injectors Not sure what regulator it is, it all came with the engine when I bought it... maybe the regulator isnt plummed in properly? At the end of the fuel rail on the right side it is standard looking... Is that right? I shall get some pics asap as well.
  4. Hi guys i have mk3 vr6 turbo, have finished my turbo engine install now but engine is now overfuelling had it running with foot flat to the floor for 15 mins ish and car would only rev to 3000rpm and used nearly £20 worth of juice in that time!!! thats how bad it is. its soaking the plugs and making it misfire and have changed oil twice now due to fuel mixing with oil. have checked coolant sensor on diagnostic - ok maf - ok tried cleaning plugs and putting blowtorch down plug holes to burn off fuel unplugged fuel pump fuses and taken plugs out with coil pack unplugged and turned over to clear
  5. i will have a look and that bumper looks really good! do you customise the bumpers yourself? i do have a bumper which will fit over the intercooler and pipes but i really want it the "sleeper" look.... i was thinking of get the intercooler and pipes sprayed black and putting black mesh on the bumper to cover up IC and pipes....
  6. Hi guys, am currently getting together my vr turbo but I wondered if there was a way of hiding the intercooler and pipes and keeping the original bumper?? Any ideas

  9. [ 1. The lower port on the wastegate is the 1 you'll need to connect to a boost controller, or if your running on the spring inside the wastegate, connects to a positive pressure source - directly off of the compressor housing. 2. The nipple of the inlet manifold - is it a standard manifold? And is it about 3 or 4mm diameter? If so it was used for the fuel pressure regulator. 3. Your dumpvalve might as well link to the port on the boost pipe. 4. Ignore the carbon canister, bin it, its just a waste of space! Hope that helps hi there! erm on the wastegate it just has one nipple coming out the s
  10. hello fellow vr6 lovers please please please help!! i have a vr6 turbo and am trying to figure out where all the vacuum hoses go.... i have 2 connectors coming off the external wastegate, 1 on the inlet manifold, one on the dumpvalve, one on the intake pipe (between the throttle body and dumpvale). theres also a connector coming of my fuel pressure gage which is on the left of the engine with the two fuel pipes connected to it. does that need a pipe on it leading to somewhere? and theres a pipe coming of a little box shape thing leading to what i think is the fuel catch tank? located on the o
  11. yeh the top sender wasnt even tight! have no idea why that is though :S have tightened up now and put plug back on, will start it up saturday/sunday and will post the results
  12. also theres a plug that goes onto the air filter housing (i think thats the MAF plug/sensor) which isnt plugged in as the air filter is now on the right side of the engine... i read that might make a difference to the fuel? thanks again vr6 lovers!!
  13. hi guys i have fitted all boost pipes now and i have a misfire and definate over fuelling problem!! all 6 spark plugs are black! swapped ht leads, no change and changed spark plugs, no change. i was thinking it was down to wiring/plugs as ive used the old wiring loom on the turbo engine (all wiring is the same) but i noticed on the turbo engine it had the brown sensor missing which is located on the front of the engine near the gear box (next to the blue and yellow sensors) so i took the brown sensor of the old engine and put it on the turbo engine... i didnt no if that would make a differenc

Antifreeze is done and gearbox oil is done. Trouble i have now is the oil light has come on :S when i first started engine all was well, next day i started it the oil light came up, checked oil level and it was well low! i filled up oil and light went out. but then today light has come on again, oil level is ok though.... havent touched anything to affect oil, or switches etc :S any ideas guys? also having trouble try
  17. right engine is running!! i havent finished it yet but i thought i'd start it up and see if it worked.... which it did no warning lights are up, just the battery light as my battery is dead! so will have to get another one of them. things to do: driveshafts need to go in needs antifreeze gearbox oil power steering fluid the rest of the intercooler pipes need to go on (but am having trouble trying to figure out how there going to go! especially since theres no room for the air filter and battery! the smaller pipes need plugging onto wastegate and air pipes etc.... then its putting the interio
