I've been round most of the scrap yards around me and ebay and still not been able to find one with square if i have to i'll buy two of the oval type but it is looking like I'm having to buy new and have it sprayed. Its just time at the moment, not enough of it lol...

No mate i couldn't find one at all and I not paying that much from VW so I found some plate in work, the same thickness as the floor and i've made to fit the floor pan. As the hole isn't all that big and where it is located makes it an easy fix as its right in the centre of the floor. So thats my job at the weekend lol, cutting the hole out neat...

sorted now... cheers...

My MOT is at the end of the month and I need a Drivers Front floor pan. Now i've called a few paints & pannel places close to me and there was no joy, I have also called voulkswagon (you might want to sit down for this...lol) and they said they could get one but it will be a special order from germany and it will cost £162.02, Pffft! stuff that... so, basically i'm trying to find a panel suplyer, has any one bought one or know of any place that would sell one or with my fingers crossed has one sitting on a shelf lol. I have got sheet metal so I could cut it out and make one to fit, but i'

Dude have you got the one that leads from the thermo housing and goes up to the bottle and somewhere round the back? Mine split the other day and ive bodged it so wouldnt mind replacing it. no sorry fella, the plastic pipes i took off where buggerd and luckely enough my rubber pipes where ok after i cleaned the ends up.

Job done... Decided to replace the whole thermo (inc.all plastic's) set as when I took it all off the thermo-stat was a bit buggerd lol. anyway no leaks, crackes and all done right with no bodging...

Basicaly, yesterday I started to replace the seals on my oil cooler but come across another problem because some Garage decided to boge the repair instead of replacing it...pffft The plastic water cooling pipe has been broken at some point and the used glue and sealent tp fix it, so i'm now looking to buy a new coolent pipe. Does anyone know if VW sells these as its the only bit I need...

mines pissing out from here but it looks like its coming from the top, thanks for answering what it is tho. If its just the seals it should be easy to fix and are they easy to get, i.e. your local auto parts shop plus could it be anythin major other than seals? cheers all...
