  1. scaned my car the other day as its under preforming fine when its cold but soon as it get past 70 ish on temp gauge it goes really flat and hesertent these are the codes i got .should add its a mk3 2.0 8v been converted to vr6 655535 ecu defective 00515 hall sensor -g40 open circuit/short with power 00553 mass air flow sensor -g70 short with ground error occurs intermittent 00513 engine speed sensor g28 no signal any help would be great
  2. scaned it with a omitec omiscan....... 65535 control unit malfunction 00513 engine speed sensor g28 (no signal) 00515 hall sensor (error) hope that helps thanks for your replys
  3. scaned it today and it came up with speed sensor no signal.......... hall sensor error (nt hall sensor in the dizzy if so it has coil packs??????)
  4. does this type have a sensor in it as mine has a black plug going to it but no terminals inside is this normal
  5. ill check it out tommorow be nice if it was something simple like that .any ideas if it could be the vehicle speed senor wire wired up wrong
  6. i havent changed the plugs since the conversion maybe an idea 2 but it did run sweet befor i swapped it in my car. i was thinking maybe maf just seams strange that it ran ok befor. is there any wiring that put round the wrong way would make it run like that fuse box end i mean thanks for all your replys
  7. hi im new to this site a few of you may recognise the name from e38.basicly iv converted my 2.0 colour concept to vr6 obd1 i belive.i brought a hole car and swaped every thing over and the car went very well befor removing.since putting it into my car it seams sluggish and a bit flat everything works fine on the car but was thinking maybe i have wiried it up wrong is there any wires on the vr loom that would cause this to happen????.also i used the gti fuel pump as was told that would be fine.you also get sort of rally pop noices coming from the exhaust when coming down in the revs when reving
