    So here's a quick run down if my car, it's in very early stages as I've only had it on the road a few weeks, but I've been advised from the fb group to throw a post up anyways so here's some pics with current spec and what will be done by March. Corrado VR6 original ABV 2.9 Flash Red. 1995 (believed) wasn't registered until 96 then brought to the UK from Ireland in 2000. Reg: G3 OCD (ignore the smoked plate, full size original plates are going on when everywhere reopens after new year) Exterior - factory paint in very good condition, recent work on drivers side completed and rear. - rear w

    All of that is a huge help Actually got the rad bled at the weekend in the end using a similar technique but no doubt I'll be doing it again along the line so thats great info! Thanks

    Love this!! How did you find bleeding your Rad? I leep really struggling with mine! And those coolant pipes look great! can you PM me some details about both them and your induction pipework? Exactly what I'm after for mine

    Ok I'll try and keep this fairly brief and condense down the cars history since I bought it in December 2012. Before I get into the Black car this is the previous Mk3 VR6 I owned and also showed with VR6OC at Ultimate Dubs 2011. Since selling it in April 2011 I went through a few cars, a Corrado 16v, a Seat Ibiza 1.8t, a 306 hdi, an Astra coupe turbo (keep those last two quiet! ), a Mk4 V6 4motion Golf, and then another Mk3 Golf. So In September 2012 I owned a Mystic Blue Mk3 Golf, 8v gti. Which went from this... To this... However, the clutch then completely obliterated itself and the

    OK as some will know by now i no longer own this i failed on updates so here is the final pics of it at Ultimate Dubs 2011 on show indoors before it left my ownership... The car got a really good response, but it had to go after this, too much to run and insure and some mechanical gremlines that then arose, but heres how it stood. The car had the following completed smooth front bumper smooth rear bumper pulled and rolled arches all round semi smooth boot new smoked crystal tail lights And thats it, no More VR6.... Mind you...     tiny rust bubble on the roof and its just been re-painted on the rest of the bodywork, theres a few spots that could have been flatted better but then again i got it back very very last minute so i guess it was alright haha

    VeedubVR your'e not the only one cutting it close haha Picking my car up wednesday and fitting new sump, gasket, rocker gasket, shims, spacers, hockey puck engine mount, dropping coils, new splitter all sorts tbh... and those things will be fitted whilst my mate flats and polishes it haha, good news is the only section of the car that won't be wearing brand new paint is the roof, and thats being done straight after UD haha

    passes FTW Im staying at the grays hotel 0.8 miles away. theyve got a few rooms left as i only booked 2 nights ago. Paid 95 quid for the saturday night for 2 of us for a double room with my mate... needless to say hes on floor haha

    Looking forward to meeting you donjon Pay time for the month tonight,,, time to order new bits, including a new sump and rocker gasket so i dont leave oil all over the floor... lol and car will be back end of this week with some fresh paint... and some smoothing haha

    Doing my own, love cleaning my own car, can happily work away for hours/ days Not gunna Machine it on the day tho, thats being done at the bodyshop just before i get it back so shouldn't need to do any paint correction on site
