    Sounds a plan tbh, im definately up for meeting up somewhere on the way, whats everyone doing about washing cars when they get there? Just detailing or a full on wash before arrival? Tbh i'd quite like to do both lol, im a bit OCD with cleaning...

    Ok Car has been dropped off today with my friend who runs a bodyshop for rather a lot of work tbh... haha It won't be back until just before Ultimate Dubs, also sorting out a Hockey Puck engine raise, new sump, new rocker gasket, and more. Basically rather a lot of work and its going to look pretty sweet But for now no car for a few weeks, so i've resorted to a trusty push bike!

    Thanks for all the kind replies, it really was a case of saving pennies when buying the wheels whilst acheicing the look i wanted and at the end of the day i think what we all want from our cars is to make them look how we want Thats what im trying to do and tis going well

    Haha thanks all! Can't wait for little touches to be completed, bit of smoothing and some candy white paint rsweeny with the skirts buddy theres rivets at each end to be drilled out, then the end caps and metal strip are removable at the very bottom of the sill the plastic trim is held on with phillips heads all the way along, take them out, the big plastic sections can then slot upwards off, they basically slot into a silder if you get me? all thats left after that is stick on bits to peel off, no holes to fill, just gave em a bit of AG ITR and Polished and waxed them up

    Update...kind of So Today i finally got decent photos, the car was dropped an additional 10mm, the rear left scrubs with a passenger, so rather than raise it more arch butchering will be done, the arches are being done at the end of this month anyway along with a repaint of the wheel centres The car now also has no skirts, took them off for shits ans giggles and tbh i love it! Fog ducts are being painted White again hence the stupid horrid looking dummy things fitted atm, better than holes! Got a few things in the pipeline but i can really see it coming on now!     Yeah went for a 45 tyre, only reason for black centre as the 9j rears were only option was black or silver centres, so went for black just to run for a month before re-paint

    Yeah 16's The centres i debated Candy White and im still debating it, either that or a colour ive got in mind, theyre being painted end of Feb, currently centres are black

    Coming from somone with a Candy White Mk3 this is such an awesome thread to be able to look through and ive always been a fan of the car since reading through the PVW feature then seeing the new looks of the car through edition etc awesome
