geo7087 replied to geo7087's topic in Wheels, Brakes, Suspension and Steering
yeh think its 912, the sidewalls stretch really nicely, i think any other 195 tyre would sit completely differently so im going to stick with the falkens -

Insurance company are already aware of the 195 width tyres fitted currently, thinking i'm most likely going to stick with the 195 rubber -

ah i read it wrong, thought it had to be there by 9am haha, still getting there early with the cleaning gear though -
Ok so the time has come to renew the tyres on My Audi TT comps spec of the wheels is 7.5J et 32. now up until this point I've been running 195/40 falkens on them, giving this amount of stretch on the wheel as i'm having archwork done this month and will shortly after be running spacers out back and possibly a bit of camber i'm wondering whether i go for a thinner tyre. Now after looking through sits my options are as follows 185/35/17 - ruling this out as i think 35 sidewall looks ridiculous 165/40/17 - this is looking like a possibility, to try and get a bit more poke from the edge of the wh

Getting my comps spaced... help needed

Now apart from using a tape measure to get a rough idea im a bit fooked when it comes to getting some measurements for spacing my TT comps wheel specs are 7.5J, et32, currently fitted with a 195 falken tyre which stretched to give a bit of poke from the wheel. Im after having the edge of the wheel itself sitting just outside of the arch with the stretch of the tyre pretty much having the arch sat on it. Arches are being rolled this month so that isnt an issue Has anyone got an idea as to what size spacers i'll need to run front and back for this?

basically the pipe leading to the oil breather goes to your induction piping, i removed that link from the sensor onwards so only the induction pipe remained, just blanked the hole off with a grommet also blanket off the small pipe connection that goes to the inlet mani

Yeah heat wrapped now

Pipes are well clear, got the air filter itself propped nicely, with the raceland 6-2-1 it sits slightly different so ive got more room, and any electrical wires are cable tied out of the way if it gets noticable in summer i can always mess about with it, ill see how it goes, its easy enough to change back anyways ive still got my smoked indicators so if i change my mind ill swap right back, and i can't wait for an early grille haha

Only just had a chance to update this as ive been bedridden the past few days... fail Vento front First off, Vento front. Got this on just in time for a local fire staton event that went on, unfortunately with a late style grille that was a last minute grab as my early grille still hasn't arrived, however ones being sent direct from Germany, should be here next week As soon as it arrives it will be painted and fitted and should look much neater IMO Sticker stack? Added a bunch of red and white stickers in pattern to the rear window, as with all sticker i chuck on they probably won't last, b

What is this part? (in engine bay)
geo7087 replied to geo7087's topic in Engine Maintenance and Problems
Sweet deal!! -
In the engine bay in the drivers front right corner by the wheel arch, 2 pipes on clear one rubber black leading to a tank or something? can someone tell me what this is? im going through the process of deleting engine bay bits on the way to a smooth bay and trying to get to grips with whats what the i mean is in the very badly edited photo here.... lol

Rears are rolled-ish lol, not fully flat if you get me, really wanting it to sat so ive got the wheel edge just poking by a mm or so outside the wheel arch, or even just with the wheel edge lined up with the arch
