  1. I PM-ed Tim my details as requested - he could find no record of a conversation on their systems. I'm not renewing the golf with them and am cancelling my focus cover and breakdown cover with them come February when it's up - not happy at all!

  4. well ive had the bearings seals done bought from supercharger rebuilds also got a spare impella, as it was pushing oil throught the onto the maff (not good)so gone back not pushing oil anymore just dosnt sound right anymore especially when oil is cold , The company charged me £460 first time and £60 2nd time as he fitted a o ring ?

  7. Had enough - looking for sale and want to know how much I should ask for my supercharged 4motion. It's had lots of money spent on it but needs a little bit more as there are a few more niggles....all the major problems have been fixed/replaced. Not being mechanically minded and having lost the will I can't be bothered to finish it off. How much do you think I could ask for it? Or should I strip it and sell it for parts?

  9. I've got two cars - a supercharged Golf and a Focus ST - insured with Chris Knott at the moment paying £39.95 for both per month by DD. The Focus was insured for the year and the Golf for 8 months for that price. I've today had the renewal through for the Golf which quotes a price of £56.40 for the Golf plus the £39.95 for the Focus continuing per month!!! I was shocked because that's like charging me the extra £56.40 pm for 3 months extra insurance! Plus paying for the golf twice as the first DD is remaining the same!   11. sorry no need for the aircon as the supercharger replaces it if i remove alll the pipes and i turn the climate control on where does it get cold air from (if it makes sence ) cheers mate :-)
  12. hi mate thanks need as much info as poss cause VW stealers cant tell me ???? need part numbers for the evap pipes and wher it leads to on the manifold ,(and any time mate just pop round :-) after alll teh pipes are moved where will the cold air come from ??? cheers stuart
  13. Hi everyone Does anybody have any detailed engine bay pics that you could email to me? I'm in the process of putting everything back in its original place as for some reason its all been moved around. But I've noticed that my evap canister isn't connected to anything at the top or bottom - the pipes are just hanging - wondered if anyone had any pictures of where their's connects to so I can replicate it. Also wanted to see how much of the aircon system I can remove as I no longer have aircon due to supercharger but the pipes have been left. All help appreciated!! Cheers Stuart
  14. As some of you may be aware I have had major problems with my 4motion so on saturday I got it back from the garage and I'm doing it myself......NOVICE! Everything is not where it's supposed to be because of the supercharger....although there was no reason for it to be moved in the first place so I'm putting it all back. At the minute there is metres and metres of badly extended cable - poor connections, gaffa tape, usual cowboy bodge job (you'll see in the pics below) - so I'm attempting to correct it. I'm looking for advice - as my local VW garage is not very helpful and doesn't give straig

  17. hi bungy you could say that !!!! compressiont test came back fine ,im no mechanic so im relying on the garage to be honest ,ive been to see it today and its pushing oil through the entire system to the exhaust , my garage said i could do with putting it on a rolling road but no one near me with any knowledge, dont even know of any one in this contry that deals with vortech chargers ,might just have to put back to standard for now as a last resort gutted !!!!!!!

  19. hi im at a loss as ive had my v9f charger rebuilt bearings and oil seals done and impella shaft and it was fitted yesterday, but it is now producing no increase in power its blown the oil pipe off as so much pressure ,its also now producing lots of smoke from the exhaust at high rpms but not at tick over ? the heads been tested and ok, i dont belive its the valve stem oils seals as the smokes not happinig at tick over ,my mechanic has taken the boost pipe off and the smoke stops the cars cost me now over 11k and im getting to the point where im gona give up and the moneys almost gone help tha
  20. hey guys im gona keep the induction where it is so i need a new one !!! whats the diffrence between a £80 cold air induction similar to the viper kit or the viper/carbonia system apart from the huge price ? or are they all the same thanks ps car maybe back friday yay:)
