hi does anybody know of a wiring diagram showing the colour of the wires coming out of the o2 sensor plug at the bulkhead....ive wite and yellow wires on one end and blue black and grey on the other,both sets have been cut,cheers,carl

have just fitted a new 02 sensor but when i connected the wires i noticed 2 wires 1 yellow 1 white unattatched coming out of the socket i plugged my new 02 connector into...next to this there is another socket with 3 unnatatched wires coming out theses are black grey and blue,any ideas where theses conect ??....having fitted the new sensor the reading is still 6.3 !! so im assuming the cat is knackered....im desperate to get it the the emmisions test...carl

hi,im still having the problem,im going to try cover the coil on the bulkhead as the plastic scuttle at the bottom of the windscreen is cracked so my thinking being rain is running down the screen under the platic scuttle and onto the coil...i will keep you infomed it this solves the problem -

hi i was talkig to a guy at work who used to own a vr6 and suffered the same probs...its apparently the plug on cyl 6 getting wet,he says start engine and let it run for a few mins turn off and restart after 10 mins and all should be fine,hope this works and is of some help to someone else -
hi,im hoping someone has suffered similar problems im encountering....the last two mornings my vr6 has started ok and wll run ok at a constant speed but after about 2 miles i hit traffic lights which have been on red when i try accelerate away the car misfires and dies,the first morning it stalled and after about 20 mins it restarted,i turned the key it fired up and run fine but this morning i just about kept going uphill,and after about another mile it ran ok...bearing in mind it rained solid all nite long car was parked for 12 hours,it also rained during the days whilst at work for 9 hours b

im half way through it and done one side and looks so much better,should there be a gap beween the rubber at the top of the shock and the shock tower,everything is tight and theres no movemet

do i adjust by moving the hub to desired position then tighten bolts at bottom of strut then tighten the top bolt ?

hi ive just lowered my vr6..but having done so the nearside wheel is cambered,i wondering if theres a correct way of fitting them,i have a look at other posts but cant find anything,...are the top and bottom mounts both fully tightened whilst car is jacked etc ? cheers carl

hi guys,ive got the chance to buy a lovely set of racing ht leads at a knockdown price,the problem being they are intended for a coil pack model and mine has a dizzy,could i use theses leads and either use my original dizzy to coil lead or buy a new dizzy to coil lead ? cheers carl

hi can anyone advise me what temp the electric cooling fan kicks in ?...also does the fan beside it turn via a belt connected to the electric fan ?...i ask this as there is a thin belt attatched to it which is just hanging loose at the moment,cheers,carl

about a month ago let out a couple of puffs of smoke under acceleration and did the same yesterday but puff of smoke was bigger,ive driven about 170 miles today with not even a hint of smoke,this seems very random...could this be a blocked breather allowing pressure to build and oil blow past the rings ?....ive just had a look at the pipe which connects the cam cover to the ilnlet boot i was very oily inside,from what i could see the copper wire mesh wasnt in he best condition...am i on the right track ?...cheers,carl

im looking to replace he rear shocks on my 92 vr6....will mk2,shocks f and r fit as ive seen a few sets at very reasonable prices,carl

hi guys,been to work and back about a 40 mile round trip on twisty roads up and down hill lots of accelerating braking etc etc but didnt have any smoke at all

would that cause it to blow smoke occasionaly ?

im going to install a new set on saturday and carefully monitor them and oil consumption

milage is 145,000,if its the stem seals i could live with that for a while especially if it doesnt happen everytime i accelerate
