Hello people, need some help with regards to fitting a intercooler to my vr6, from what i know the supercharger is a z engineering...looks like the old style. what route would you guys take when piping for a intercooler as coming out of the charger and going past the throttle body through the intercooler and back past the charger seems a tad tight...any help or diagrams would be appreciated. thanks in advance jake

I did what you guys said and put the maf between the air filter and the charger and it ran really rich, also was juddering on normal speeds and would barely start, changed it back around and runs perfect?! Is this because the car was mapped with the maf after the sc? Thanks

I see, is there any reson for that?! Also if my car was mapped with the maf sensor boost side would it be wise to put it intake side? Thanks

Hey Guys, Got a question about intake pipes, been looking around and the only one i can find is the bonrath power rohr, alot of other cars seem to have one continuous pipe from throttle body to supercharger, what do you do with the maf sensor ? are these just home made pipes? thanks

i grabbed a bargain with my charger i think, z engineering, stage 1 setup, mapped ecu and fitted for £1500 :~)

Well I Have Them 4 Bits Of Angle Just Sitting It In Place But I Have A Proper Battery Box To Sit Over It Which WIll Be Bolted Down Aswell

Thank You For The Comments, The Badges Arent Quite As Bright A They Look In The Photo, But I Think Adds A Nice Touch To Make The Car Stand Out... Quick Update, Recieved My Seats And Harnesses A Couple Days Ago, Just Waiting On Subframes And Gliders Till I Can Fit Them... I Also Have Nearly Finished The Rear Of The Car, Still Waiting On Strut Braces To Turn Up I Now Have A 4 Point Cage Which I Am Having Sprayed And Installed... Any Comments Would Be Much Appreciated

Little Update, Recieved My Seats Today Really Happy With The Look And Feel Of Them, Also Finished My Boot, Went For A Suede Fabric In The End, Will Post Pictures Of It Up Tommorrow

Hey Guys, I Have A Slight Problem With The Vr At The Moment, If Im In Third Gear And Change Down Into 2nd, Revs Sitting Aorund 2k, If I Then Put My Foot Down The Car With Judder/Hold Back For A Second Before Picking Up Around 2500k, This Is The Case For Most Gears. Any Help WIll Be Much Appreciated, Thanks Jake

Little Update - Gave Her A Little Clean And Took Some Pictures Of The Damage, Nothing Major But Just Annoying Really... Took Some Pictures Of How The Back Stands At The Moment, Waiting For Carpet To Arrive, The Holes Were Going To Be For The Harnesses But Might Be Having Them on Either The Strut Brace Or The Cage Now?? Ideas?? I Have Also Ordered Myself Some New Bits... A BMC CDA Induction Kit Some New Leather Reclining Seats With Harness Holes The Strut Brace Still Hasnt Turned Up

Heya Guys, I Havent Really Done Any Posting Yet On The Forum, Just Been Browsing And Gaining Ideas And Knowledge From You Guys.... At Last I Thought I Would Start My Own Build Thread... I Bought The Car About 6 Months Ago Completely Standard With 99k On The Clocks, 2 Owners And Full VW Service History, This Is My Second Mk3, Im Only 19 And Had A 1.4 Match Before, All Was Great Except The Power, Then I Dreamed Of Getting A VR6 And Low And Behold, One Came Along Two Weeks Later, There Were Only 2 Bad Points About It, The Back Arches Had Bubbled Rust on Them ( Which I Have Read Is Quite Common )
