Hi guys, just bought my first vr6got it home and after a few days have noticed what i would say is a tapping noise coming from the top of the engine on the drivers side can anyone give me a clue, i thought it was just tappets? or do all the earlier ones do this The dub is a 1994 golf vr6 with 48000miles on the clock, it has been stood for a while un-used but was serviced whilst not in use. Engine oil is very clean, plugs all good, i know that they are suspect for timing rails but did not think that would start for a few more thousand miles yet. Any ideas would be appreciated
