i drove a few s2000s and type rs when i worked down the docks for honda , the older type rs are great fun but the new 1s are crap , you dont get the same thrill as you do in a 04 reg , s2000s are fun tho and pretty dam quick ya know if you use the rev range then it is very quick cant take nothin away from them tey can take abuse but still i would av my vr any day of the week , the v6 with the full miltek systemjust sounds to good in my opinion

iv owned mine for 2 years now and i love it, my m8 had a type r and off a rollin start i stayed with him until he got in to 6th gear. iv got a couple of mods but nothing major (de-cat back miltek ,lightweight racing flywheel, and a k&n). iv also had 100mph from 3rd gear with mt brother in the car and we big boys, like i read in a previos note when trhe vr was first about it was a very fast car and in my opinion still is

hi , i had the same problem just not with the oil in the tank , did you have the head skimmed prperly when you done the gasket? my head was pourus (corroded) and had to have special treatment before they could skim it . my symptoms were that i would lose water in the tank so i would top it back up and as soon as the engine got hot it would it blow it out the overflow until it got to a level just under the minimum, then it would be fine for a couple of days til the water light came on to tell me the tank was nearly at the bottom agian, it was doing this for weeks til someone from vw checked it
