Coilover fitting
curtossterone replied to 23345matt's topic in Wheels, Brakes, Suspension and Steering
my brother is using jamex coilovers on his polo and i had no problem fitting them for him. started on the left hand side found the levels he wanted and then measured the distance from the bottom of the shock to the first locking ring and coipied on the other side and has been fine since .... keep them all the same level and give them some abuse through some corners and a couple of weeks they should be fine :s -
@vr6_jason i think its a case of poorly educated minors with lack of enthusiasm for real car fanatics styles E.G big engines smooth bodywork and a bespoke style they seem happy with there 1.2 corsa's with slap on happymeal bumpers doin handy B's round the back of B&Q i am 21 and i have chosen the path of going fourth and educating these yobs !!

so after a lot of umming and ahhhring i have decided to go through with the conversion but i have to wait for at least two months for the engine to save up for it. its the engine out of a 4 motion golf the 24 valve beast with 204bhp. i do not know if there are any mods on the engine but it has done 75 thousand miles and belongs to a welsh guy called Andrew Repton who converted his 4mo into a r32 he has assured me it is in all working order and i have had the pleasure of getting very drunk with him and watching him rip apart my best friends r32 so all is well. he has offered to guide me as muc
