  2. Here in South Africa electrical parts are not refundable. Im sure this pump they sold me is for the mk3 jetta cli. Ive got an inline pump, would it help if i added it on
  3. My fuel pump decided to give in on me, so i purchased a pirate pump for R600. The problem i have now after installing the pirate(non oem) pump is car must be primed @least thrice before starting and under hard acceleration the car stalls & seem like its not getting petrol, i have to leave the accelerator to return to nornal. Should i add an inline high pressure pump as i cnt afford 2 buy another(quality) intank pump?
  4. Hi guys, a week ago i these terrible noises when turning, going over speed bumps & when changing gears, especially on pull-away. On hard acceleration car pulls to the left. Today i came the mall, & noticed a puddle of oil underneath my car (very clean oil), so i checked dipstick, powersteering fluid, transmision oil & coolant, & everything is intact 100%. Could this be my front engine mounting? This problem started after i came back from holiday, the roads we travel on in South Africa is Pathetic.
  5. I finaly decided to check my abs problem out, i removed my front wheels & discovered the connector wires had been scuffed open, i then fixed them up & tested them with a test light, no power on connectors, did some troubleshooting, the two 30A fuses are ok, but i cant find the relays, i checked everywhere. My vr6 is the mk3 1996 South AFRICAN SPEC. WHERE are these relays on my car?
  6. those caps should always be checked first. Glad you are sorted out mate.
  7. the cylinder head has to come off soon to change valve stem seals, then i can sort out the stud problem.
  8. while trying to replace a stripped stud with a new one, i broke the new one off, flush in the cylinder, im sure it was poor quality. So i tried drilling it out but just made a bigger mess. I then put the manifolds back, at least the bugger aint leaking, lucky me, but this is still bugging me. Is this going to be a problem, im thinking of doing a modification just to make sure it is sealed. I have cut a strip of flat bar steel, drilled 2 holes in it, then fastened it on the right mani to the left mani, with a washer applying pressure to the part where thier is no stud, works hundred percent, bu
  9. hi guys, somebody did the scan for me, i even told the guy to check Lambda & MAF for faults. know i will have to pay R450.00 again for a scan. Therefore i love doing everything myself, because it will be done right the first time.
  10. the fault code for that immobiliser has been erased and did not return on 2nd scan. That immobiliser does not even exist anymore, im using autowatch level 4 in the vehicle now.
