The seal around the the areal on my highline seems to be missing, I have spoken to parts at my local Vw and they told me it's not an individual part and comes with the areal at 80 odd quid, does anyone know anywhere that you can get them from separately? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

bit of background information on what ive done, basically ive had the engine out including the engine wiring loom and now its all back in the engine turns over, I have a spark but the fuel pump isn't getting any power, I have checked the relay is working which it is and also removed the plug from the fuse box and put power down to the pump with a power probe and the pump works fine. I could use some advise though as electrics aren't my strong point! thanks

Looks like that's what I'll be doing then, thanks for the advice chaps. I shall update with pictures when I'm done

Been doing some work on my car lately whilst its off the road and spotted a bit of what i thought was surface rust behind where the air filter box sits, so i proceeded to put the wire wheel in the drill to clean it up and was going to paint it but as i touched it the wire wheel went straight through (turns out it was a lot worse that i thought) and this is what it looked like so next i needed to investigate further so out came the arch liner and removed the coilover, peeled off the underseal, wasnt looking too good at this point did some more work with the wire wheel and this is what i found

Unfortunately in october I manged to get myself disqualified from driving for 12 months so its been sheeted up since then! a couple of weeks ago I talked the lorry driver at work into picking it up for me so i could get some work done whilst its off the road. collection day As soon as i got it back to work i set to stripping all the interior as i knew i had a few little rot issues that needed attention, once id got all the interior out this is what i found......
