  1. I will re-word that, it was Sold in 2000 so could have taken 13/14 years of abuse? I know the head is probably older.
  2. I just had a look at the invoice on the pictures and it says "demo" and it's dated 2000 so it's a 14 year old head and most probably one of the first they done??? Iv sent a message to the bloke selling it asking what performance gains he had and how long before it cracked haha, I want to run nitrous so I also need something strong :/
  3. Ah yea just done a search for it, the valves look huge with hardly any gap between them, no wonder they crack!! Could easily be welded or k-seal possible? Haha, I'd rather spend £50 then £1400+ Might be worth a bid? Haha

  6. Ideal, yea i thought of imobilizer but then tried other things lol, il google them for there number, i read about the same thing on corrados and the imobilizer had to bypassed there the ecu, or something like that.. Thanks lads
  7. Iv got the plastic key with no buttons on it, thats the only key i was given, is there a way of "over riding" it?? Or is it part of the ecu?? Thanks mate
  8. Hi guys iv just bought a mk3 golf vr6 obd1 i had to fit the steering column and igntion barral needed wiring up, that is all fine.... The car turns over and fires up straight away but then cuts out, not like its starved of fuel or air, just a full cut in power, battery is good, got fuel, wired the ignition ok (everything else works fine) just dies, there was a cheap alarm in the engine but that was already disconnected when i got it..... Any tips guys??? Iv checked fuses and relays ect... Cheers Dean.
  9. Have you tried the max sport rb5's yet mate? Im also building a track car and have ben thinking of these, like you say for the price there worth trying lol, would be intrested how you get on with them :-)

  11. cheers mate, are there any baffled sumps avaliable or is a custom thing that has to be made?? and i agree i do need to slow down in the corners tho, not doing my tyres any good lol

  13. got the mrs s$*ting herself and me very confused, at 1st i thought it was a "low oil" buzzer, having checked the oil etc and then more hard corner testing i still get the buzzing sound, its comes from behind the dash and deff an electrical sound not a trim item, some times it does take alot to make it go off but as have had my vr6 completly sideways a few times now its getting annoying, any halp would be a great help!!! thanks Dean.

  15. glad to hear it lol, yea im going to move it behind the grill and im thinking of getting the lower intakes from venom, that way i can still have the cold air feed just looks smarter, it was like this when i bought it, so il just change it when i have time lol and before any shows
