    I will re-word that, it was Sold in 2000 so could have taken 13/14 years of abuse? I know the head is probably older.

    I just had a look at the invoice on the pictures and it says "demo" and it's dated 2000 so it's a 14 year old head and most probably one of the first they done??? Iv sent a message to the bloke selling it asking what performance gains he had and how long before it cracked haha, I want to run nitrous so I also need something strong :/

    Ah yea just done a search for it, the valves look huge with hardly any gap between them, no wonder they crack!! Could easily be welded or k-seal possible? Haha, I'd rather spend £50 then £1400+ Might be worth a bid? Haha

    Hi iv tried searching for this on the forum but no luck, I found this and was wondering if anyone has one?     Ideal, yea i thought of imobilizer but then tried other things lol, il google them for there number, i read about the same thing on corrados and the imobilizer had to bypassed there the ecu, or something like that.. Thanks lads

    Iv got the plastic key with no buttons on it, thats the only key i was given, is there a way of "over riding" it?? Or is it part of the ecu?? Thanks mate

    Hi guys iv just bought a mk3 golf vr6 obd1 i had to fit the steering column and igntion barral needed wiring up, that is all fine.... The car turns over and fires up straight away but then cuts out, not like its starved of fuel or air, just a full cut in power, battery is good, got fuel, wired the ignition ok (everything else works fine) just dies, there was a cheap alarm in the engine but that was already disconnected when i got it..... Any tips guys??? Iv checked fuses and relays ect... Cheers Dean.

    Have you tried the max sport rb5's yet mate? Im also building a track car and have ben thinking of these, like you say for the price there worth trying lol, would be intrested how you get on with them :-)

    cheers mate, are there any baffled sumps avaliable or is a custom thing that has to be made?? and i agree i do need to slow down in the corners tho, not doing my tyres any good lol

    ok cheers mate, how would hard cornering cause that tho??? by moving the oil around to much???

    got the mrs s$*ting herself and me very confused, at 1st i thought it was a "low oil" buzzer, having checked the oil etc and then more hard corner testing i still get the buzzing sound, its comes from behind the dash and deff an electrical sound not a trim item, some times it does take alot to make it go off but as have had my vr6 completly sideways a few times now its getting annoying, any halp would be a great help!!! thanks Dean.

    i have also got this problem, got the mrs s$*ting herself and me very confused, at 1st i thought it was a "low oil" buzzer, having checked the oil etc and then more hard corner testing i still get the buzzing sound, its exactly as described, behind the dash and deff an electrical sound not a trim item, some times it does take alot to make it go off but as have had my vr6 completly sideways a few times now its getting annoying, any halp would be a great help!!! thanks Dean.

    glad to hear it lol, yea im going to move it behind the grill and im thinking of getting the lower intakes from venom, that way i can still have the cold air feed just looks smarter, it was like this when i bought it, so il just change it when i have time lol and before any shows

    yea they have grown on me, wasnt too sure when i 1st got it, they seem to be fairly rare, dont see many of them at all and the low intake isnt a problem, its not directly connected to the intake theres a goot 4 inch gap between the filter and the cold air feed lol :-)

    should i fit the front bumper lower grille vents, from venom?? im in 2 minds about them...:/

    yea that was there when i bought it i do plan on removing the outer "cone" and leaving the cold air feed behind the grill but i will have to replace it as its been cut thanks tho

    could you let me know if it was the pads that needed changing as my car is doing exactly the same, im yet to adjust the cables so il obvs check that first and try it...thanks

    done a google search for "vw le mans alloys" and nothing at all any1 else want to have a guess? lol spoze the name aint realy that important, i think they will have a good contrast against the burgundy??

    thanks, my plans are to get sum cams for it, bigger fuel regulator, and a remap or chip, tidy up the body work with sum dark side repeaters, brighter fogs lol, and im not sure what to do about the alloys, i like them but few people have said they look like steelies with wheel trims on :-( i like them tho, they have deff grown on me, and there in good nick, the chap who had it b4 me had them refurb'd.
