can anyone help me out as im desperate my car recently was converted from a GTI 8V to a VR6 the car runs fine but when i have the indicators on the car hunts and if i put the heated seat on the revs go up i cant see any plugs off in the fuse box and added extra earths under the engine bay but no difference any help would be much appreciated- 1 reply

hi mate mine also had a lip at the top of thr bores basically where the piston ring ended so mine was worn.7 thow and to be on the safe side i honned my bores with a honning tool and put new piston rings in from VW just so you know the comany called GOETZE piston rings are the people who also make original vw piston rings people will tell u that is worn alot of the bores but it aint

hi guys need some help i fitted a set for slimline fans and my fans and aux waterpump constantly running i changed fan control unit but still doing it any ideas?

hi guys i need some help i have just done a vr6 conversion into my MK3 all is wll but the loom i bought from a a friend for the fan control unit is strange.All the mk3 VR6 fan control units i looked at have a big plug and smaller plug, mine has a big plug and the smaller plug is really small its only a 4 pin plug, i know it controls the auxillary waterpump but i cant find the right control unit for it? any guesses?
