    were do i start,main thing is the rad fans tested them manualy they work fine,however when the temp reaches half way 90f the fan try kickin in and the 30amp fuse blows everytime,checked wires changed rad sensor changed sensors in housing changed fan mod still the same,just purchased a resistor for the heater speeds which had blown so when that arrives i will try thr air con to see if the fans come on,thats were i am up to at the mo mate

    that would be awsome mate but i havent got insurance or mot on her yet iv been around the block a few times late on thats about it,as soon as its fine to use i will get insurance,iv notived the cops seize um now with no cover that really would tip me over the edge lol

    finaly got my first vr and been rumbled £700 on the car and £450 on parts and a problem new pops up everytime,and tobe honiest my old 8v gti would leave it standing.big engine=problems i guess

    vr smokes a little on start then cleers also the revs take a while to settle with slight spluttering,what shud the needle be on when ticking over on its own,gratful for any help

    just pluged vag.com in car and its saying car is not obd2 compatable i thought my vr was obd2 how do i check

    fans still wont kick in guys,faulty fan last resort?

    yes temp gauge works m8 temp gets to half way then after about a minute the fuse pops

    is changing the chain as easy as changing a timing belt mines just gone past the 100k,are there any early signs of wear rattles etc?

    cheers for info the lead i can get comes with the vag.com shareware so i wont need to download anything from ross tec will i?

    do you know anything about this vag.com mate i seen the lead and softwre on ebay for £8 just install on the laptop is it worth getting and could it find my problem

    rad fan works hooked up to battery with 2 wires 12v test but fuse blows when they spose to kick as normal the temp reaches half way then the fuse gos pop

    i have the same problem with mine and i will get aroung to sorting it.best bet is just typr your problem in the search theres going to lots of help on this subject

    the gut who i bought my car off said it was decat it sounds like the downpipe needs atention,had full stainless all the way threw,the 3 way triangle you mention has 2 bolts in and one empty is this normal

    had a few people saying the fan motor could be faulty and causing fuse to blow even tho i had them spinning just jumped up to battery with 2 wires?
