  1. Cheers for the reply , is anyone running a short runner on a not forced motor with some pics to show how it should look ? Also would you relocate the maf to the other side of the motor or just run piping around the back of the motor to where the maf was originaly ? Cheers

Hi guys , I wanna run a short runner on my vr6 obd1 12v motor , My question to you is what will I need to relocate and to where , ithe motor isn't turbo or super charged and I know I will lose some torque but not realy that bothered as somewhere down the line I will supercharge the motor . Any pictures or explanations on what needs to be done would be great Cheers all
  3. I had my vr remapped after new cams , catback and induction kit . Car has 305,000 kms on it and still going strong

Finaly got my blower working again after rewiring everthing , then noticed the damn fuse in the engine bay had come off the body and the entire fuse holder was sitting on the side of the block that melted everything . Anyways now its working either the motor or a relay for the air direction blower isn't , cannot get it to change where the air comes from as its a climate control system and its all digital . Does anyone know if there is some sort of relay or where the motor for the vent selector is . Could use some help here as its driving me nuts. Cheers
  5. Does anyone know what the diameter of the upper rad hose is , my car isnt currently with me and i need to get an adapter for an external temp sender.   6. For me i would say yes . you need to get a remap after as i guess you would know otherwise it don't run correctly .

  8. Im running 268 on standard head .. not had any probs . vr6specialists said 268 can run on standard head np
  9. Hi guys Need some help finding where to buy a plate that goes inbetween the oil filter and motor with the adaptors for a oil temp sender and pressure sender . Also an adaptor for a external coolant temp sensor aswell. If you know any pleace that sells these items or where I can put the sensors without needing them would be great help. Cheers
  10. Hi guys , I need some help figuring out why my interior light when switched to door mode stays on . The switches on both foors are fine but there is no power going to them . Any help on how to sort them out is much appreiciated .

  12. Hi guys , I have damaged/dented the steering pump pully and now the belt is screeming as its running . My question is as the pully that's on the pump now is grooved I have an old pully from a car that had no ac on it and the pully is not as grooved as mine . Can I still put it on my car and not have to worry about the belt slipping off or do I need the same pully ? Cheers

  15. Can't be the filter as I just changed all that , how would I beable to check for a leak after the maf ?

  17. Hello all , I am new to the forum as I just bought a 1995 vr6 golf on monday last week . Since then I have done a full service on the car including coil pack and leads etc , however when trying to satrt the car the engine has to turn over atleast 4 or 5 times befor it starts and then I have to give it a bit of throttle to get it going . Once running it idle fine and pull ok , I do have a problem where if I'm just driving along and just give a little more throttle to overtake the car seams like it loses power and then give it more it all of a sudden gives loads of power. What could this be , an
