Probably being a very big noob but when on the motorway and you hit 80 (pretty quickly ) my Vr6 automatic makes a very loud (screeching)noise till about 85 then stops? Is this normal on all vr6s or just autos or is it a problem? :s Cheers guys -

@andynick69 yes please mate part number would be useful @lukey oh thought it was all the same? ye fronts are fine its jsut that one bit on that one side. Thought they would be simple to come off and just replace with a new one?

cheers guys will try and go to brakers but depending on quality might be better to order them online. GSF wouldnt sell them would they, just theyre up the road lol may have to give them a ring

cheers by the looks of them they are stock ones. Ive added some pics but the crack has got a bit bigger and when you step out of the car you can easily clip it.

Hi all Just a small problem. Got a small crack on the side skirt neat the back wheel on the drivers side. Would it be better to try and fill it in or does anyone know where we could get a spare side skirt? (just a pain to colour match) Cheers

all working now infact i turned engine on at it was up but took it out anyway and reattached it. Cheers guys for the help much appreciated

are they easy to remove? dont want to end up breaking anything as the car is pristine inside lol. btw loving ur mk2 (favourite car)

@jim potter Thats what i wasnt sure about, what does an induciton kit actually include/ do Sorry if i sound like a noob just very new to car modifications. Cheers for the replys Also another question albeit stupid one, VR6 arent supercharged are they and how easy would it be to do?

Nope nothing. Just seems stange one minute it was working the next its dissappeared? Changed the fuse so not that. Could it be a relay or loose connection?

Hi everyone any help on this would be much appreciated. It was working fine, then yesterday we started the car and no display came up? However it does flicker on when you start the engine but then goes straght off and therefore you cannot change temp, speed etc Cheers guys hope its not an expensive job lol

Hey all just got a new VR6 auto from a friend of a friend for just under £700 Posted this previously in another thread but obviously was the wrong place It drives like a beaut and has been well looked after. The guy said he added an induction kit which gave it an extra 5-10bhp was just wondering what people would recommended adding considering its an auto. Budget up to £500 not looking for massive amounts of extra bhp but a lil bit would be nice Cheers ladies and gents
