Can anyone tell me how i can remove this breather seen in the pic and reconnect the original pipes to the filter, i dont have the pipe and dont know where they go.....i just know that i dont need the breather...there is on on the other side of the manifold

Hi all, just a qucik one, ive been looking at tidying up my engine bay, i thought i would start with getting my engine cover referb/coated so set out to remove it and noticed i dont have one, is this normal? ive canged my profile picture to show this. Basically i have the inlet manifold and thats it, should i worry.

Dont want to hijack your post but my back left is the same, makes a noise but doesnt go down, then if i press up it makes a noise again but ddoesnt move, sounds like it might just be stuck.

Does anyone know where i can get this hose from at a decent price as mine has cracked...the number is 1H0 121 101 A. Also is it easy to change just looks like two jubiles and thats it?

Hi guys thanks for your responses, ive since noticed watter splashes around a split pipe!!!! i asked a friend and he says that someone along the line has rather tan replace a hose (1H0 121 101 A
) has instead bodged it with a small pipe and two jubile pics. thanks for your help though guys

If you read my last post on this subject you will know the story, anyway trading standards are investigating garage, as are watchdog and somebody has painted on the garage wall...shocking!!! Anyways, since ive had it back bearing in mind it was the crack pipe that he broke and replaced the water warning light came on, when i got home and let the engine settle for an hour i saw the water tank was empty, i filled it up and it seems to have lost a litle, now im not sure if he didnt fill it right up but my temp hasnt once gone above half way but it might be paranoia but it seems to warm up prety quick, any ideas guys, surely if it was a leak it would drop all the water with the pressure in the pipes?? Thanks guys,

There is a thin white pipe comming off it which you can just see at the bottom right of the bottlle, and a screw lid which can be seen

So should my engine move so much, theres a lot of movement, ive no non standard engine parts (air filter) so i should just replace with standard right?

thanks for the respnse but ive since found that the black round piece of plastic needs to rotated to the left to reset it. dont know if that makes sense but i think it needs stripping and oiling up

Do you know what i saw this on the news about the kid getting done over and the first thing i thought of was this site...WOW!! you guys love vr's,and me to i guess as i found this thread!!!
