    Could anyone tell me what the black box/bottle is located between the battery and the lights, it has one pipe comming from it, mine is empty and just bounces around there. CHerss, have pictures but dont know how to post them here.

    Could someon tell me why i should change my engine mount for a stiff one? Also there is a lot of motion in my engine, if i push down theres a good 3-6 inches bounce on it, also my front gear box mount needs changing, came up on mot in sept, ive just bought the car am i running a risk driving it without it being done yet, thanks guys

    Hi all, when i bought my vr6 the boot didnt open from the outside, it had a piece of string attached to the inside on the metal pulley, after sorting most of the other problems out im not tackling this. It looks like the piece of black plastic that turns isnt now, does that sound right, is this a common fault, can anyone offer some suggestions. i would add a couple of pics but cant see how?

    Ah, is there a way to disconnect it, i cant get the car in the garage for a few days and i know that the oil presure is fine?

    its just occured to me, the right hand tweeter is still working so does that mean that it must be the wire from the tweeter to the speaker as its the right hand door speaker that isnt working, does that sound right?

    my right hand door speaker hasnt worked since i bought the car so i replaced it, still nothing.. ive just ran a cable from the speaker up through the dash to the back of the stereo, 2 questions...If i plug this cable into the back of my head unit will i cut out my dash tweeter?? also where do i plug the right hand door speaker cable? im guessing its somewhere into the brown connector?? Thanks

    Cherrs for your support guys, its Bluebell garage in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham. I feel like ive proper been done!!!! Anyways do you think you guys can help me with the oil alarm, when i bought it the sensors were disconnected but earthed, no audable alrm but flashing oil light.....now they are reconnected as soon as i drive off it alarms audiable and light on dash....apparently the bluebell garage said that there was a brass screw under the oil pump not connected to anything...any ideas guys im desperate now....thanks

    Right just left the garage and and didnt get round the corner and the oil alarm came on again, vis and audio, he said there was a brass screw under the oil pump that was connected to anything, any ideas??? Had to pay for the pipe they broke, it was about a foot long, 3 inches accross adn black stiff plastic! he said if i didnt pay for it he would just rip it back out! i need my car for work so was pretty much stuffed anyway.

    Cheers for the responses guys, i dont know what pipe it was, he was trying to connect an oil presure gauge to the oil sensor when he did it with his arm, it was pis**ng out from above the sensors on the front of the engine, at first i thought it was oil but then saw that it was water/coolant. Not heard from him today, he was going to get the pipe today and work on it tomorroww, i have to be carefull as the car is there so im gonna call cunsumer direct tomorrow. he might have calmed by then and hopefully wont expect me to pay!

    I listend to you guys and took my car to my local garage and said, the oil sensors are disconeced, can you reconnect them and fix the problem...whilst carrying out this work they sherred a radiator pipe going into the front of the engine, then said were not paying for it...now the mecanic was prety adiment and as my car was on his land and it was 6-o-clock i just said right fix it and we'll sort it out,i dint want my car to end up outside the grage on the road. He said the pipe will take a while to get and he cant start it till wed, last night being monday. Surely he has to pay right?????

    Hi, ive posted a few post on this subject now and decided that as i have my oil pump sensors disconected then theres no point having an oil light flashing away at me o can anyone tell me if theres a wire i can disconecet or is there a bulb that will stop the light flashing, Cherrs all

    I have a MK3 VR6, the drivers door speaker didnt work when i got it so i have replaced it but it still does not work. I know its not the head unit, what can i do? i have very litttle experince of electrics but im willing to try. Im guessing it has to be the cable from the head unit to the door but i dont knw which one it is at the stereo. all the wiring looks original as do the adaptors. thanks

    Thanks guys, Where can i source the sensors for that price, im not very mechanical but i know where the sensors are is it a big job, im sick of my local garage spanking me!!

    Hi, ive just bought a VR6 and the oil light is flashing...The guy i bought it off said that he had changed the oil pump(i think) and that when he reconnected the sensors the oil light came on and it was buzzing so he unplugged the senors and earthed it...now its not buzzing but the oil light is flashing...Does anyone know how i can rectify this mess? Thanks

    Hi all, ive just bought a VR6 and i think its had an angel conversion, deff some sort of conversion...im after some blueish bulbs for it will i just fit standard H4's or will they need to be different because of the conversion. Also is it easy to change the back light on the dash? Cherrs

    Its running fine, the guy said it had a leak which he fixed but couldnt stop the buzz, so by the sound of that do you think its a sensor then, he has dissconected it and earthed it thats right..
