HI all, bought my first vr6 lasnt night, in the garage at the moment getting all four corners wheel bearings done. My question is, the guy i bought it off said that it had a small oil leak when he put it in for the mot, not he showed me where from and said he repaired it but when he started it he said there was an auidable alrm(i think) anyway he said to stop it he had to unplug to sensors and earth something or other (front left of engine) and now the oil light is flashing, does anyone know how i can sort this out, i can put a photo of what he has done later but now the two leads are just tie -
Dont suppose you mind talking me through it, brieflly like only my friend is a mechanic and if i know myself i might be able to talk him into it for a bottle of JDanniels? MMM rear boot release button is dodgy to apparently is that a big job does anyone know?

:-dHi all, im just about to buy my first VR6, wanted on efor ages but been trying to get a steal, anywhos; The seller says" it needs a new gearbox mount" he has the mount and says its the rear one, ive rang around some garages and there saying about 2-3 hours labour...Does this sound about right, am i taking on a donkey with this, im willing to pay the labour just dont want one thing to lead to another...He also says it clunks when it goes into gear when pushing it whcih if the mount ison its way out sounds right to me, Cherrs Folks, Grant
