Mines pretty low on 17's and I run staggered widths 7.5j on the front and 8.5j on the back and I don't have any issues with rubbing

I personally wouldn't worry too much about the pistons. I reckon the rods will be the weaker of the too so I'd consider swapping them for forged rods

Rite guys just had the confirmation from Paul (organiser of vw festival) we've got a stand book and we really need to try and fill it guys, apparently it's getting harder for clubs to book stands here as there's that many wanting to be there. So lets do the club proud and try to make sure we can be there again next year [emoji4] Oh and it's STRICTLY Vag cars only so unfortunately no Clio VRT's this year The dates are 14th-16th August Although the stand might be there on the Saturday the main day is the Sunday so I will be booking the stand for the sunday. You could run twin side mounts like the mk1 leon cupra r and I think audi S3's had

I went to get one from vw last year and the didn't have just that part, they only had the full coolant pipe and it was £110

A couple of weeks mate. There was an aue loom on ebay a couple of weeks ago and there's a couple of aue engined cars breaking on there too but I need a loom from the later bde engine
