Lol me and my had had a similar thing in his R32 turbo when we smashed this guy's 911 turbo to pieces. He pulled into a fuel station behind us shouting what the f*ck is in that when he got the reply just a 3.2 he said yeah right then my mate said with a turbo pushing 530bhp and The Porsche driver just went no wonder then disappeared in a huff lolSent from my LT26i using Tapatalk

Eventually a bit of an update. Just ported my 2.9 cylinder head today and painted my 2.9 block too
Just need to get it all back together and in the car now

Well while I'm still without my car thanks to the bodyshop being beyond a joke I got bored and found a 24v vr engine with ecu and looms. There's no rush to get it in just going to source everything and get it all ready to drop in when the time is right.


I couldn't make sense of the PDF file so I ported it and stitched it all together shame it's over 2 meters long now but on the plus side I don't need my reading glasses

The loom is pretty much there now being made a hybrid to fit the ce2 fusebox just need to get it back to the engine for routing and then leave it for whenever it goes into the mk2.

Was a lurker up until a few weeks ago, 2 of my current cars are up for sale, however if they dont sell i wont be dissapointed to say the least, heres a few pictures of the fleet so far

I've finally found one of these!!!
It only took 6 months odd! Thanks to Calico for the pointer bought an odd complete light with a smashed lens for £33 inc postage,was a bit beaten up and has a small crack,but polished up well. Also got the brand new offside one a while back so fitted that.
So popped the grill off and got the black copy covers off (which I might colour code) and popped the oe hella ones on,much better!
Like new!
Also won this on the bay at a bargain price recently so jacked the engine up and got it on,can feel the improvement with just the one so will be looking out for the other two 2nd hand as I'm tight:)
Then did a bit more cleaning under the bonnet to get it to some sort of standard of cleanliness

Other than the BMC CDA and ported throttle body done by me, the car is standard engine wise, so now I know it's healthy inside!!! I didn't even do my usual pre dyno service of plugs and oil, so once I do the plugs, oil, leads and fit the lovely milltek decat I have in the shed, I should be looking at 200hp   Roll on the good times!

Or geeks with wank cars falling to bits but mega fit birds....

Everytime I see a beetle or van driving along with a roof rack and impractical or empty suit case crap, I want to slap the driver.
I can't stand slammed lupos with 5 year old pimpled geeks in the drivers seat either. There are thousands of them in show and shine areas.
So you polish it, stick a cheap set of lowering springs with 2000 mile wide wheels that have a diameter of 2cm and think it looks impressive?. No. It doesn't. Me having the first morning wee and not hitting the seat is impressive.
Though I suppose if it makes the owner happy, then let it be.
