    Anyone any idea of how much I would need to pay to get head gasket replaced? Also is it possible to do myself and how much time should I allow? I am not a mechinic so is it simple enough to do/ Scooby7161

    I have just picked my VR6 today. As I came down the motorway the oil temp went upto 104 degrees. I was running between 65 and 80 MPH. Water stayed fine. Is this normal? If not any ideas what could be happening?
