ye it was pressure tested passed and was refaced washed cleaned im just losing patience with it now and today its started misfiring bad and noticed alot of oil on my back bumper window hmmm

right had new head gasket water pump radiator thermostat new coolant pipes and still boiling over im thinking cracked block ive lost all patience

right ive had a recoditioned head on my vr6 new head gasket etc back in 2011 now i found out the oil cooler wasnt connected but i have now sorted that but my header tank is boiling water spluttering out if i put the cap on it pressurises. but it never overheats fans kick in heater sometimes blows warm oil seems clear on oil cap tried running it without therostat and also tested the thermostat.

hi there just wondering when i limit my vr6 golf it doesnt go bouce of the limiter it just stays there kinda like a diesel i know other cars limit like this bt is it normal i thought you would get a good sound it kept bouncing off the limiter.

Checkd leads there ok just idles rough and cuts out at low revs not all the time tho bt idles rough all the time you know that bit where the wiring loom meet near header tank where u twist and pull to disconnect it wire number 13 is hanging out its red with a white strip in it do you know whst wire that is. And by arch what do u mean.

hi there my cardies at low revs when i come to a stop or junctions and sometimes it doesnt but it will idle rough really low revs cleaned throttle body bt i heard lick a noise when u leave a spark plug out when its earthing like a ticking coming from or near throttle body. vr6 1996 obd2

yess been seviced every yr by vw garage just another question wen i dip the clutch or come to a stop the car dies the revs just go dwn or it will rev really low.

yupp give it about 5 secound and the window screen is steamed out.

right i keep losing coolant temperature gauge always sits in the middle and i turned the heater onto hot air and like a mist of vapour came out and it stinks of overheating smell.

batt terminals tight and i cleaned them and by on the back of the head you mean the engine block mate.

My clocks on my vr6 are everywhere they do what they want then all the dash lights come on then reset is it the earch or something.

the clocks on my mk3 vr6 are everywhere when i accelerate the speedo and rev counter go everywhere then the the lights come on the dash then go off again. and today when i boot it av high rev the clocks just go funny and cuts the engine off or holds it back. anyone know what this is dodgy earth maybe.
