im 37 and have had my vr for almost a year, it was only on the road for a couple of months after i bought it due to the choice of a strip down and rebuild, will hopfully be done soon though.

Hi all Can anyone help? Im looking for the black trim thats on the outside of the rear passenger door, does anyone know where i could get my hands on one. Thanks

I had 17's on mine and there was plenty of clearance even though mine is lowered. Im now looking for another set of 17's for it as ive put the other ones on my vrs and the 18" r32 wheels i have are to big :-(

Well i thought i would try my R32 wheels on the VR today, but to my disapointment they were to big :-( which was a shame as i thought they looked really good on the car. So that will be a set of wheels that will be up for sale as ill need to get a set of wheels for the VR. cheers peop's happy VRing

ok thanks peops, im going to have to try seeing as they are the only wheels i have and cant get anymore at the moment seeing as ive just been laid off from work, hoping i find another job soon or the vr may have to go:( which wont be nice as ive been looking forward to seeing the finished product. take it easy

Hi is anyone running 18 inch wheels on their vr, i only ask as im thinking of sitting mine on a set of r32 wheels i have in the garage but im just wondering if there will be any problems? Thanks

Hello mate Yip its sounding like you need to bleed the whole system, i had the same problem with my car after replacing the rear calipers, but after bleeding the brakes again and the clutch all was good again, Just remember to bleed them in the right order, furthest away from the reservoir first then the next furthest away and so on, you probably already knew that though hope it all goes well

I wasn't looking for 1 at the time i got mine but my mate was selling it as he was moving away, ok its needing some minor work done to it but was well worth it and will be when shes on the road again

hello again all thanks for the replies but I've found the problem its the injector wiring that goes through the engine as the injectors are under the rocker cover and its apparently a colon problem once the car has done a few miles so it looks like I'll be taking a Passat engine to bits :'( I might actually get my vr rebuilt at some point Thanks again
