    cool thanks dude will check tomorrow.... i left the bonnet off the car for a few days n it got wet.... i pulled all the plugs out n gave them a clean and then it stopped for a bit but then started to hunt again.....

    thats a pic if you can see the lights tht on, im sure it's a side light, altho it's quite bright.

    so, the vr's idle hunting at the minute.... but wasnt before i swapped engines. at the minute the lamba sensor isn't plugged in (different plug connectors) so would this make it hunt for idle?? i have cleaned the plugs out etc.... AAAALLLSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO to save space and "spamming" my rear brake lights / lights are cionstanrly on even tho my headlight switch is off.... i turn the key start the engine up and there on - only the backs tho, and even with the engine off there still on? any ides with that one??

    Exhaust off the donar VR fitted... looks and sounds perfect!!!! Also off the donar VR is this factory fitted extra..... stoooooooooooooooopiedly rare.... fitted that too but batt died on my phone before i got a pic of it all fitted.... and my new momo steering wheel..... happy days:)

    well this is the firt one: but i have exactly the same on on the other side..... possibly thinking ABS but there is no where for it to plug into.... also this one below the header tank... also, i can't find the pulg for the lamba sensor to go into.... think the lamba sensor plugs may be different.... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm lol

    naaaa i got a few plugs moose and have no idea where they go??? ill have to take a photo and post it up!

    i would but this is the one which goes through the trail arm and has a captive nut on the end....

    got loads done today, stoked, put all the remaining wires together, fitted the brakes back, bolted the clutch assembly together steering rack u join.... also the rear wheel bearings turned up, so fitted them intop my new discs and got them fitted along with the rear coilovers..... also got the old exhaust off the mk3 and swapped o ver to the cabrio... fitted all the wheels... and she's finally sitting on wheels... tomorrow is a simple case of bleeding the whole system, brakes, clutch, PAS and coolant. also bought 5L of oil and an oil filter going to be doin a full engine oil change so it's nic

    Yea mate stoked!!! Can't believe I turned the key and it started!!!! Love it!! Just got little bits to sort out now, exhaust coil swap etc!! Can't wait!

    was so nervous!!!!! i hate the "testing" bit!! drives e fooking insane! but so glad it fires up n starts.... PS can anyone tell me what the feed and return for the full lines on the engine??? i got the top line for the feed and bottom line for the return but seams like it's leaking....

    WELL, CHANGED THE RELAYS OVER, CHANGED THE FUEL LINES OVER AND CONNECTED UP THE STARTER LEADS ETC AND.... SHE......... LLLLIIIVVVVVEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS........ sooo stoked!!!! ne way some randon pics!! coilovers on getting the wiring loom in place!!! VR loom outta the 6...

    well, vertually completed the list, only thing i didnt do was rear brake swap as the wheel bearings didnt turn up.... so engines in and bolted up, looms been swapped INC headlight loom. hydro clutch is done, throttle cable is done, exhaust is done, gear linkage swapped, fortunatly, the vr hasnt got an immob... yewwww so happy pics..... little nervous as to getting it up n running etc..... hope she starts

    so then, a little recap what left to do: gear linkage change on both cars loom swap clutch peddle swap throttle cable swap immob swap exhaust swap rear brake swap ^^^^^tryn get that lot done today if i can and then bolt the engine n sub frame in. plub up sorted.

    Thanks buddy, iangti on here is being a ledge and really helping out alot over the phone and stuff such a wicked lad!!! so tomorrow.... i am hoping to have the looms swapped over, the cable changed, throttle cable all changed and the engine plumed up and in fingers crossed!!!

    well then, done some shoppin today.... scappies are amazing!!! full cream leather interior.... dirty but needs a clean - got it for £20..... out with the cloth junk..... During the clean..... left side been leather treated n waxed - right side hasn't rear door cards seats n head bits in,.... the color looks soooooooooo good against the brown of the car!!!! i got more bits coming, 2 new rear wheel bearings, momo evo steering wheel, momo boss, momo handbrake handle and momo cream leather gaiters. happy days!!!

    yea i'm looking into new wheels bearings for the rear, i've got a feeling i may have bitten off more than i can chew after our phone call earlier......

    more work now lol ipulled out both engine this morning.... so now i need an engine crane to get cracking on puttin the VR6 lump in the cabby!!! ne way pics.... it starts!!!! hated by the neibours.... brand new rear discs.... out n ready to roll.... so now i need an engine crane...... grrrrrrrrrrr

    well before the rain stopped play, the engine and subframe is out!!!! stoked!!!! i havnt got an engine crane yet soi have to undothe suspension struts so i can pull the engine and subframe out..... stoked!! pallts under ready to drop the lot out..... engine dropped.....
