  1. i hope so, as it has a full stainless exhaust on it! sounds amazing thanks for the confidence boost... i'm a little worried about the wiring, i know it's plug j play but still :s
  2. ahhh this isn't my mototr... i borrowed it of a guy on the forum and added the arrows just to reassure myself..... ideal, so no need to "faff" around with the wiring so i can go ahead and take the whole headlight loom and engine loom out!!! good it's so much easier having a donar car cheers mate your a ledge!

  4. also just a thought, if im going vento front, would it not be easier to swap the headlight loom etc from the VR into the cab...... saves the hassle of fiddeling with stripping the loom!!

  6. ahhhh right, well it was bolted to the PAS pump which is attached to the engine... so presumed it should come off you mentioned about the steering rack U clamp.... are there 2 of them? 4 bolts in total???
  7. cracked right on with it today.... everything ready to drop the engine outta the cab.... i snapped a sub frame bolt tho - thats gonna be a royal pain in the arse!!!!! so heres how it all started this morning.... "welcome to the dub show" so then, i cracked on and removed the rad, PAS pipes, water pipes, gear linkage, engine loom plug, exhaust manifold, brake lines, suspension top mount strurts, steering rack U clamps.... then i set about undoing the sub frame bolts 2 x 13mm 2 x 19mm and 2 x 16mm then i undoe the 18mm ones on the trail arms - one snapped!!!!! HEADACKE MOMENT!!!!! then i undon

  11. yea and for the finel price i got it for stoked, the bits alone would of cost that, plus the value of scrap when it gets weighed in, it will work out cheaper... now all i have to do, is get my head around the vr6 conversion!

ALSO GOIN UP TO GET THIS AT THE HALLOWEEN WEEKEND....... lovery donar car!! comes with..... 121,000 miles, full service history, v-max coilovers, 16'' bbs rx replica alloys, deep chin splitter, pipercross filter, full powerflow exhaust with de-cat (cat included) made 184bhp on the rolling road (with the cat, must be top 180's now) runs and drives brilliantly, just put brand new drilled front disks on the front (done 0 miles!) new brembo rears to be fitted happy happy

  15. just bought sdome all red rear lights.... and a plastic welded smooth front bumper.... wil get better pics when they arrive
  16. ohhhhh and i forgot to mention.... i am now going for a vento front, so the MK3.5 front end is actually now up for sale if anyone is interested in it.... so you'll get.... slam pannel boonet lights wings bumper grill any anything else needed to convert £275 o.n.o
  17. few whore shots..... got myself a VR6 highline with mulberry colored leather interior for a good price so thats goinna be used as the donnar car and ill see a trimmer about getting my rear seats trimmed to match the leather interior pics soon
