  1. The best pipe size IMO is 2.25" any bigger and it tends to be quite boomy in the cabin. If your running decat, it's best to replace the cat with a straight thru box somewhere in the system. Depending on how loud you want it, I'd run a small box under back seats and a small box at the back, all straight thru. This will give you a nice sound but not too loud. You need to keep the same amount of boxes as the oe system but use straight thru design. Research or look at the miltek systems. They make a reasonable sound and a exhausts make should be able to make this sort of setup for arround 2/3 the
  2. the only clip I have is me revving it in a lay-by. Sound good and you get the idea so to speak.

Looking at the cellis, they look similar to quads with the projector lenses n separate high beam lense. I've got hid's in my hella quads n didn't have a prob with them or doing it. Gaz
  6. Sh1t man. Hope u are ok. These things happen unfortunately, more often than not to people like us. Crack open a tinny or 2 If u haven't already n just chill. I've been to a funeral of a family member today, which makes u realise things could be slot worse. Tomorrows a whole new day......
  7. Well I butchered sum of my plumbing fittings together, made a 22m t with a 10mm stabbing n coupled it all back together, bled it all up n seemed ok. And, it's got me the 180 mile trip home! It looks a bit of a mess but at least it works and more so my head gaskets not fooked thank god. Just wait for the hose to turn up now one I send parky the pennies..........
  8. Have u checked fuel pressure to see if reg is failing? If it's not ignition side n electrical the only one left is fuel side. Also when did it last have fuel filter change? Is pump noisy etc etc
  9. shit phone died! just got ya post now! any way ill try n patch it up with some plumbing fittings to get me home, but ill take the hose off you. ill send payment for it along with the money for the swirl pot etc on monday pal.cheers for looking. ill be in touch. Gaz
  10. It's basically blown a fookin massive hole rightwhere the silly rubber t thing is. Can't believe it. It's only 2 weekends ago the top rad hose went!
  11. Just gone down to north Wales to visit my family. 3 miles from arriving, steam every where. Temp gauge all normal so I've not cooked it as I caught it just as it happened. It's the heater matrix hose that goes almost straight from bulk head to cly/ head with the small hose that goes to the throttle body. Any body got a spare I can buy? It's obd2 if that makes a difference. Otherwise I'm gunna be stuck down here as it's in the sticks so to speak! Cheers in advance guys.
  12. I see people mention the sound, but tbh, I dint find the Sound that great. It's not a match compared to a knN Kone, but obviously the Bmc wont heat soak like a Cone filter.
  13. I couldn't find lc9z wings anywhere. Tried for ages. Ended up getting a dragon green one n a blue one. Now I've got to paint em.
  14. How common is this issue? I'm obd2 on standard pump and find when under 1/4 tank on right hand corners and on the twisties, or driving should I say 'spiritedly' round roundabouts, it seems to hold back, like there's no fuel there. It accelerates n then sort of stops. Think a swirl pot n a in line pump is in order on my shopping list.
  15. what colour is it, how bad is the rust areas(any pics)?
  16. i found the insurance with chris knott insurance with members discount nearly twice what i ended up paying through the company im with now.
  17. Here is a guide a mate of mine wrote and some info about heat wrap. enjoy Always Use the best possible heat wrap you can afford and if its done properly it lasts for years. Guide to heat wrapping. I have used all the heat wraps I have come across over many years but so far I am settled on DEI wrap because the thermal properties are as good as anything else I have found and better than most. It also has good service life when properly applied. It is close weave so there are no holes when streached. It has a stitch down each side to act as a guide to overlap so it is easy to use and because the
  18. Vine said between 10-15bhp with my mods and the chip. 85.00+vat I think it was
  19. I've not had mine mapped I don't think. I sent mine to stealth with a list of mods n a note to say what I wanted. I'm obd2 interface, CDA, 6 branch n full decat. I'd say the difference are very noticeable. Car is far more punchier, not as boggy thru the gears and pulls far better. Also it's reassuring to know that the fueling will be more accurate than with the standard map.
  20. I'm that bad, the score server wouldnt even load!
  21. the way i do it is as follows. it may not be the correct way or the way other people do it but it always works for me. Let car cool, or do it from cold. take off rad cap fill coolant level to the max mark (keep a jug and some water handy) place a good size cloth arround the top of the coolant bottle turn heater blower to full and temp dial to full start engine and let it run up to temp. when temp reaches normal, check bottom rad hose is warm (think this one should get warm first) if it is all is good. check coolant level is still on max mark. run idle speed up a liitle but dont race it (no
