    ive had my fair share of hot hatches over the years and altho i havent driven other golfs, my opinion on the mk3 vr6 is a good one, its like a grown up gti for me, looks stylish while being discreet, sounds glorious and the ride on smooth roads is lovely(my car is lowered on nasty springs!) bit thirsty tho, but the noise!

    hi folks, this whole thing about the mk3 golf being the worst golf ever, is their any truth in it? the only golf ive ever driven is a mk3 vr6 and from what i can see its a lovely refined car but i cant really compare it to other golfs when my friend came in to say hi the other week and i told him i have a vr6 he basicly said "oh they are ment to be the worst golf made" was he right? discuss lol

    to be fair, if the car was genuine mint i would expect to pay over 2k for a car, several times i have turned up to view a so called mint car only to be greeted by a piece of junk

    these aygo/107/c1 aint bad at all, alot of people knock them without even trying them and when i bang on how cheap it is to run them they kind of say "oh............" they are cheap and feel cheap but thats the beauty of it, i once said to my mate the engine sounds like a porsche lol only moan i have for them is the boot, inside is a tad smaller than a vr6

    the aygo isnt that bad to be fair with regards to fun, the v6 noise is addictive tho but im 28 years old now and i have my first kid so i cant afford to have fun anymore lol!

    hi folks, ive had my golf vr6 on the road since last wednesday and already i am feeling the need to sell it on, my main car has been my toyota aygo which has been silly cheap to run and since my partner fell pregnant there was pressure to get a bigger car so i ended up buying a mk3 vr6 on christmas day last year, i didnt think the fuel consumption could be as bad as it is just wondering is anyone else feeling the pinch owning the vr6? i will be posting a forsale add when i have done my 50 posts, if anyone is interested in a swap(anything with good mpg considered) then please let me know

    lol apparently the closest chaps get to the pain of giving birth is the piss a kidney stone out but already im thinking of selling the vr6, i have put about £60 in fuel in it since wednesday and i can see it killing my finances off!

    thanx for the post and support guys, small update been a very exhausting day with chelsea and the little one, been waiting for developments since 7.30am and finally at around 11pm there were signs of isaak finally sort of showing signs of playing ball, she is closer but not close enough, truly emotional and draining experience but it will be worth it in the end, my sympathys go out to all the women out there who have been there and done it, us lads who get moaned at all the time by the other half this is the time when you realise they should be allowed to moan at us
