  1. Many thanks. I joined up last night and it's got me 95% there. Trouble seems to be that I have air con and looking at what I have here, if I disconnect the pipes in the engine bay, I will probably need to re gas it?
  2. Hi guys. Don't suppose anyone can make a suggestion where I can find some detailed guidance on removing the heater matrix? I have got as far as getting the dash out and have got the heater motor out but I am struggling to identify the correct bolts to undo in the engine compartment. The way I am going, the front of the cr will fall off if I losen any more bolts on the bulkhead :-) If anyone knows where I can find some pictures of the steps or can give some guidance, it would be really appreciated. I believe that I have still got to get out the motor housing but i dont know which bolts in the

  5. Perfect. Thanks so much. It's the first job of many I have to do. Ithe rear passenger side window wouldn't work and started to drop last week so I took the door panel off to fi d that a piece of carpet gripper had een tie wrapped to stop it coming down. I got the mechanism out of the door though and found that the hexagonal lug on the cable would not locate in the window carrier so I made up a clip to captivate it. It all works lovely now. The next job I think I need to do is replace the heat exchanger. I am losing water from the engine coolant bottle and when I put the heater to warm. It's
  6. Hi, As a new owner of a Golf VR6, I am hoping you guys may be able to help me with identifing a part and possibly where I can source one from. The part in Question is 021129101A and it is a breather valve of some kind, whihc I believe is connected to the head/rocker cover? Any ideas where I can get one of these from? Cheers.
