Back in November 2013 where this story begins, bought with a fresh 12mth MOT for just £600 the old girl had no issues driving the 80 miles to her new home. It wasn't long before the work commenced on gutting the car completely as you can see. After 3 years down the line and whilst it may not look like i've done much, plenty has gone in to this car that you can't see. With the engine removed, the bay was repainted. OK - You're a little far from me but there is an excellent chap in Slough who builds looms for conversions etc. I'm sure if you removed yours and sent it to him he'd be able to completely repair it. He's on FB under the name James E Looms -

Power steering expansion hose
Toddy replied to Johnny's topic in Wheels, Brakes, Suspension and Steering
Pirtek and Hydroquip could assist in making one up but you'd like have to supply them with the ends of your current set-up. Failing that, EEA engineering make the entire set up in braid with all new ends and fittings. At todays exchange rate it is £191 to your door. -
Could be caused by MAF sensor or Lambda sensor is my understanding.

As above. This is the beginnings of Crank Sensor failure usually.

If you're running OBD2 then you do not have an ECU relay. The fuel pump relay is the same item across both engine types, I can't recall from the top of my head what number it has on the top. 53 springs to mind or is it 18?

I think like most of the vag range, you'll want to use CHF rather than PAS fluid.
