    good to see the figures...i noticed my transmission losses where huge (30%) Had a chat with vince and he said there are lots of factors affecting it but the 17s prob didnt help and the pants engine mounts and worn bearings

    It was a busy day, i didnt even get chance to look round all the cars as there was so much going on Not suprised you guys where shattered, well done on making it run smoothly. Who was it that ripped there front splitter in half to get on the rollers...that was classic

    Just seemed like a fun question. I don't have a spare 2k lol Diy allowed within ur own abilities. I'd.personally go for a mk2 golf gti 16v with 9a bottom end (2.0 conversion) that would prob see me 1500 an the other 500 would prob go on zorst an solid front engine mount. I'd love.to.say a.vr6 but tbh I think the mk2 with 2.0 would be more chuckable an not much difference in bhp/ton

    Yep arrived.in the post.today, 59 in a 50, fecking ****!!!!! On the plus side it seems my Speedo is pretty dam accurate!

    Reconnect battery. Key to first position,open all doors run round car 3 Times making chicken noises. Works every time for me! ;-)

    The ignition.switch is next on list anyway as it did stall once today. All earths checked. New fuel filter certainly helped acceleration. Goes like stink

    I'm afraid to say I'm a total idiot. Once again the fault was caused by my own stupidity! Checking earth an I noticed the neutral battery terminal was not tightened up from last time I took it off!!! Tightened it up an it's been fine since! Guess it was just expanding when warm an losing contact U all have my.permission to slap me at the rr day!

    Relay changed. Fault remains the same :-(

    I've been reading up an if the relay don't fix it then it could be ground fault to ecu or worse. The fuel pump itself is shorting out. Although I can't see how that effects the relay circuit. Gettin New relay tommorow morning

    It's definitely fuel pump relay managed to put hand on it while driving. It's gettin alot worse as well. Just hope it's just the relay an I hope it gets me to the parts shop. Good call mate!
