  2. Was just thinking as i gotta change the fuel filter this weekend, ill probably end up getting a rocker gasket and taking the inlet off. Does this make it easier to have a check over the spark plugs. ive got the tool for it but must admit im always a bit scared of taking sparks etc out, i cross threaded one years back because it was awkward to get to :S Might do an oil and filter change as well, but anything else worth going over while i have inlet off etc?
  3. I know this rumour has been about for a long time, Tbh it could even be to do with atmospheric pressure, weather conditions. My mk2 16v made 153BHP there stock with only a warm up reg mod an i thought it was a bit mad but it made 149 at amd so it wasnt wrong I have a lot of respect for stealth TBH vince is a great guy

  11. Ok apologies for being in here every 5 minutes at the moment Not long ago i had the almost cutting out thing, bunny hopping Found a loose relay all seemed fine. Well its done it twice more to me since, and rather embarassingly my Mrs has spotted what could be the issue Every time it has done this the Fuel gauge has just been goin into the red Did it this morning and i was close to a garage, put fuel in and absolutely fine So it does seem like a fuel starvation issue, but its odd that its started doing it as ive driven it into the red plenty of times with no issues at all. Im thinking maybe a

  23. Had.to do.the.chicken dance as my Fisher price vcds doesn't let me do tb alignment. Took battery off put back on, left in ignition stage for 5 mins, checked there where no fault codes. Does seem to feel alot smoother under load. I'll get someone to do a proper tb alignment at rr day :-)
