  1. Ive done a bit of digging on this but cant seem to get a definitive answer from what ive been reading. Basically, i know there is minimal if any gain from these mods HP power wise, they more aid acceleration and torque. My initial query was can both be ran ok together? Or which is preferable? Ive heard stories of both being lightened can play with the engines harmony as to say and can cause issues. My VR6 lump was due to be rebuilt before i did my conversion but due to losing job and a flailing 1.6 lump, i had to take a chance n the donor engine until after xmas. The engine is now coming out

Kens diner is every Tuesday across from the BP garage had 4/4 big turn outs so far. every Tuesday at 7pm p.s get there early for a spot! the postcode is NN9 5HX

I own a 1985 Mk2 1.6 GL(Below) which i picked up last year with low milage for its year (87K), almost mint condition interior throughout and only faults bar a few small dings were, bonnet had a small warp, both front arches had rot where the splitter joins and two small patches of surace rust. Overall for its year it was very clean! Anyway I got to work on it with a few touches including by spending 6 months searching for a new OEM chrome 7 slat grill, which cost me a small fort
