    Looking at getting a kit I've seen for sale. It only needs the sump tapping for an oil feed and software. I have a couple of questions, Can you buy a chip that can just be installed? Do you still run a MAF? Cheers

    I thought about ditching mine but read something similar to the above and kept it. The car is so loud anyway that it has never bothered me

    Mine does the same since fitting samcos. Tried burping air several times so now I just leave it. Buzzing I'd put down to the electric pump working but being a little tired. Just leaving mine until it dies completely.

    Cheers for the help, got this changed at the weekend. The one that came out was pretty bad.

    Ah cheers for the tip. Think I'll remove that and the inlet as it was getting closer to the brake fluid reservoir. Although the fan plug is already in bad shape

    Yeah a little. Did you remove the bracket or just jack it enough to swap them out?

    Any tips for replacing the gearbox mount? I tried removing the three bolts and taking the bracket off but one of the bolts fouled and wouldn't come out. Is there a way without dropping the subframe?

    See I did think that. And they came with fitting instructions which I followed...but I did think they should go on opposite to what instructions said

    Ah really?i did expect some noise from them. Will give everything a check over and maybe check if the caliper is sticking

    When driving I can hear a noise coming from my front wheel/wheels. It is hard to describe but seems to align with the rotational speed of the wheel/brakes. It is a kinda whirring noise as opposed to a clicking. I have checked for play in wheel bearings and shafts and both seem fine, maybe a little in out movement on shaft. Have recently upgraded to 312mm brake setup with dimpled and grooved disc, not sure if this would cause a whirring noise when braking. Will re-check pads and everything is seated okay. Will also re-check the dust shields are not hitting the disc. Anything else to check?No un

    I've heard oemandmore do the best copy wings. How good they are in reality I dont know.

    Cheers Was this different for the US market as most threads seem to say OBD2 is socketed and OBD1 isnt

    Any ideas which are soldered and which are socketed? Mine is 97 OBD2 VR6. I know the answer is to whip it out and have a look but didnt know if there was a definitive answer. Thanks
