Hi I bought a mk3 golf cab on a m reg with a vr6 2.8 obd2 1996 engine fitted ran sweet but was high miles and smoked a bit so bought a cheap 1995 m reg vr6 so removed full engine on the subframe and fitted it to my golf cab when I did the swap both car ran sweet and all I did was undid the engine loom on the big twist of connector now the prob I have it runs crap on start up idle really low and just don't sound healthy vag com say knock sensor and throttle sensor I've had the new knock sensor but still the same The throttle body sensors where both different looking back now it had a big flat

sorry mate ill upload some of the clocks they look nice cheap mod too well going to take the axle of as it seams twisted prob poly bush it also got my eye on full set of drilled and grooved discs also going to fit some fk coilovers ive got on other cab that are like new

new wishbone bushes now done back out to play again..also fitted leather mk3.5 steering wheel gearknob and handbrake with chrome button some chrome rings to the clocks and some polished door pins

Now in bits wishbones ball joints and anti roll bar brackets being replaced also rear we packed in goes down but not up also fitted a vr6 grill badges

now known as G8LF U ..vr6 cabby . plate all done today also fitted my vr6 owners club tax disc and window sticker.

Yeah I think it works well too prob paint the wheels candy red or somthing got loads to do to it yet tho I have another cabby the same but that a 1.8 with full cc Recaro leather
