Sounds like your best bet may be to let them write it off get paid out, then buy it back and get it repaired if the damage isn't to terrible.

After a few small set backs like relocating the maf, a few shows[emoji16][emoji106] and the arrival of this little one; Say hello to Lennie, I'll have I'm in a lowered little tykes car soon....in red of course! Anyway I managed to get a day booked off work and a mapping session booked at Stealth, the car runs the Ecu from the black Vf charged car so it was half way there! It drove ok but had a big flat spot around 3.5k, after speaking to Vince he assured me he could map it and get it running right. I was expecting 270-280bhp and nearly fell over half way through when Vince told me it'd be pro -
Hi mate, that looks like a nice clean car, nice to see a set of arch trims, loads of other people tend to get rid of them, I'm a fan though! Going to do anything else styling wise?

For the last couple of days there's been an R reg blue 3 door mk3 parked badly on a corner in a little village I go through on the way to and from work, Much Hadham, the village is so posh I'm surprised it hasn't been moved! Anyone on here? It's got an OC sticker in the side window and S3 wheels.

If you haven't changed the calipers or size of the calipers, as in put 4 pots on there I wouldn't worry about it. -

Went to Players show on Sunday as it's literally 10 minutes down the road from me, (well then an hour of traffic around the airfield as its was so ridiculously busy[emoji15]) . I went back to my Compomotive TH monos for it as I like the whole Motorsport(ish) look they give the car; As it was only down the road I thought I'd see how low I could get the car on the coilovers[emoji15], this was how low!;[emoji16] Then a few very kind people sent me some shots of the car from the day; Players is a great show by the way if you can make it one year with a amazing mix of cars highly recommended[emoj -

Been busy this last week with the car, first I got the Eurospec 280mm rear discs that were on the black VR I broke machined as they were quite badly corroded after sitting on that car going nowhere for a couple of years, luckily the car had done hardly any miles with them fitted so they had loads of meat left on them, this was before fitted the black Golf; Discs after being machined by a local machine shop; Next to the standard size disc; Removing the caliper spacer bracket from the old axle, needed a bit of heat to get them off; Old discs and heat shields removed; Then all back together; Th -
