It should be running around 8psi, though according to the boost gauge it's more like 9, will be at least getting a power run done in the next couple of weeks and then another map if it needs it, I'm not one for just throwing something like a supercharger on and hoping! I need to move the AFM away from the charger though as the turbulence the charger causes is confusing the AFM big time! [emoji15] The cooler may not stay there, as with almost everything on this car (apart from rolled rear arches) it's completely reversible just leaving a couple of small holes on the underside of the bumper, -

Sorry wrote out a massive update but only about 10% came out![emoji35] so I rewrote it but a lot shorter above! It's ok it was only about £200 remember, so we'll have to go without a sink or something[emoji23]! Oh and back on the road! -

In the last couple of weeks I've also added a mocal oil cooler Broke the crack pipe changing the oil cooler [emoji35] front end off and a new pipe from VW ordered as I couldn't be bothered to wait for a stainless one as I just wanted it back together by now! Though it did make fitting the oil cooler much easier, Always loved some of the old jap stuff so thought why not! [emoji6] had to get some longer hoses made up for it. Then picked up the Rotrex last night next to the VF and got it on there today and all seems pretty good at the moment............. Fingers crossed touch wood etc! -

So my excitement was short lived as the VF charger developed a leak from the pulley, which once the oil got up to temperature got worse[emoji24]. I'm not the most patient person in the world and really wanted the car back on the road. [emoji35]So after a chat with Dips as I knew he had a freshly rebuilt VF9 which unfortunately for me he had just sold , not all bad news though as he had a nearly new Rotrex set up [emoji3]! So determined to get the car on the road (and out of the workshop) asap I bit the bullet and bought it[emoji6]( the new bathroom will have to wait)[emoji38][emoji106] -
They look like the pads that fell out of my Audi 80 but that's cause they were about 15 years old![emoji38]

That's a coincidence that's what my charger cost me!

When I saw it I thought it was a Saleen, it's a Mosler! There was a few bits of serious machinery there including these;

And very surprisingly no oil, fuel or exhaust leaks to sort out! Though it hasn't moved yet since having the charger, injectors, fuel pressure reg, supersprint manifold, Ecu, steering column, short shift gear linkage and cables, front 312mm brakes, braided hoses, dot5.1 fluid, plugs, leads, oil, sump, suspension top mounts, wheels and more! So quite a lot to go wrong! Fingers crossed for the first drive next week! -

Is this any help? Let me know if you want any more. -
You wouldn't have any spare belts knocking around would you? I'm getting desperate now!

Not sure about jaunty after following Saunders for that long I think it's more like 'held up by the axle' angle!
-
Wasn't this picture taken when that car was only about 6 months old? [emoji12][emoji106]

I don't think anyone who lived along the route got much of a lay in, especially with ssaunders exhaust![emoji38][emoji106]

I'll take £10 for the bumper support, I've pm'd you mate.
-
Hi you could very get away with heating up the bumper to repair it, I do it all the time at work and I have just broken a mk3 vr and have a front crossmember/bumper support and a front panel if needed. I'm only down the road from you in Stortford.

More fun![emoji106]
