  1. I run a 79lbs min turbo 790bhp on a 2.3 4 cylinder engine which had full boost at 4.5k surely these 2.8 v6 engines should spool early as hell or is it because you only run lowish boost .. not seen many v6 turbo graphs .
  2. Sounds too heavy that standard .I know 2010 4 wd drive cars with all the extra safety stuff and bigger to the eye that dont weigh that much .
  3. Is the 1400/1420 kilo weight that vw quote dry or wet weight (fuel) If u say its 1420 kilos then add 85 kilos for you that's 1505 kilos . So you lost 25 kilos?

  5. Bloody hell that's heavy . I better purchase a plasma cutter My last subaru was around 1400 kilos and it was a pig compared to my 1200 kilo scoob . Looks like I need some fiberglass panels . Are doors roof bonnet and boot available for the mk4 golf
  6. you guys should check the syvecs gp ecu you can add cal switch with 8 maps for turbo cars has all sendor layout and has warning cut off for oil pressure temp ,water etc can control solenids and magnets for dccd and I think it should control the haldex quite easily by tps rpm wheel sensor speed and brake pressure also controls boost like a ruler .. can control upto 8 cylinders , awesome ecu worth its weight in gold ..
  7. I was thinking of using a company I use for my old subarus body parts abw they make headlamp covers made of fibregalss .. you then add a super bright led behind track use only though . ill post a pic in 2 mins of the last one I had made for a air filter duct
  8. looking at billet 35r turbo not sure yet though , not head spacing it fitting low comp pistons 8.5.1 maybe 9ish as im running race fuel e85 race or v import .. from looking the vr6 is 1400 kilos , the plan is to get it to a 1000 kilos then with add ons turbo intercooler brakes rollbars hoping for less than 1200 kilos .. that's the plan anyway ..

Heres the base car ready to be stripped . came with a excellent spec for 1k full heated recaro leather miltek exhaust kn panel filter uprated clutch copy bbs alloys new ap coilovers Plan is to strip the car to the last bolt and take out every ounze of weight possible funds allowing . stripping will begin next week all parts available if anyone needs anything
  10. are there bits that are better to fit from a r32 and cupra r , im getting lost searching for chassis up grades

  13. after driving the car home the only thing the car seemed to lack was positive steering seemed slow and sluggish , is there any form of a quick steering rack for a golf 4 or any mods to sharpen it up . car is a vr6 4 motion 2002 ta
