after closer inspection its getting even more suspicious the ebay sellers name is horsepower geek BUT payment went to TD Autowerkes after searching both TD Autowerkes has its own ebay store I'm starting to think they are trying to sail off TD Autowerkes name :/ using a email address of tdautowerkes@yahoo.com but the TD autiwerks email address is sales@tdautowerkes.com
-
It's horsepowergeek iv had a look at his feed back and seams a couple of people have had problems but nothing that would make you not buy from him/them... It could be a genuine mistake but I'm now out if pocket import fees from the us so got to see if I can get that back now probably not though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
Iv messaged the seller but had no response I'm not surprised as he was so slow replying after he got my money... I'll contact paypal see if they will do anything about it I'll also email / ring ebay too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Alright lads, iv purchased my turbo last month on the 29th from the US, I was told it was in stock but once I had paid I was then told it was not in stock and he will need to order one. Fair enough I'll wait the 3 days for it to be ordered. But after being fobbed off with different waiting times I opened a case with ebay the day after I had a tracking number :/ hmmm it didn't add up. I revived it last night so ebay closed the claim I opened it up and for a start it's the wrong turbo it was a ar.62 not ar.84, after closer inspection iv noticed there is a cut out for what looks to me like a plat

forget that I'm deco going weigh the mk3 haha
-
will mk4 24v vr6 ARP bolts be the same as the 12v?? iv ordered all 12v but now have the chance as a cheap 24v 4motion saves me cutting up the mk3 to fit the 4wd. could put more money into the engine and box in form of a better manful supporting mods and front and rear LSD... if not ill be selling / returning the 12v bits and bnuying 24v... dam friends tempting me lol

glad i changed my mind now.. did you use an oil restrictor??
-
iv managed to change my order to this ( below ) T4 .84 A/R Divided V-Band Compressor Wheel: Inducer 2.44" (62mm) Turbine Wheel: Exducer 2.437" (62mm) Ported S-compressor cover (.70ar) would the ATP log manifold accept the T4 im guessing it would with it saying T3/T4... ATP cast VR6 manifold designed for T3, T3/T4 or T04 turbo applications. Will work for both MK3 and MK4 VR6 cars. Hi-temp material and thick walls prevent cracking under severe heat. Pricisely tapped for M8 x 1.25 for the 2 bolt wastegate flange and threaded M10 x 1.5 for both T3 and T04 bolt pattern

ill be going 4wd and using the R32 or 4motion box ahh right i see when would a t4 A/R 0.84 make full boost?? i best get in touch with the selle and change my order haha..
-
I ended up going with a Precision T3 A/R 0.82..I thought a T4 A/R 0.84 would be just to much lag... Or Am I wrong?? If so I best get in contact with them ASAP and change my order before it's to late
-
sweet thanks for the help lads .. TURBO ORDERED... .. as for wastegates / blow offs would you say would be a good combo?
-
Sweet thanks!! Before I go ordering my PRECISION 6262 would would you say the best spec would be to go for? I carnt find much on what would be the exact one to complement my output and mods.. I was thinking this Precision PTE 6262 Billet CEA 62mm Turbo T3/T4 SP-Cover V-Band .82 A/R 705hp Part Number: PT6262-CEA (705 HP Rating) Options: Precison 6262 Billet (Journal Bearing) 4" Ported Shroud Inlet Cover/2.5" Outlet T3 .82 A/R, 3" V-Band Discharge PTE's PT6262 Turbocharger features the following: • Exclusive CEA (Competition Engineered Aerodynamics) compressor wheel machined from a 2618-alumin

iv just dropped you a PM but ill email you also
-
sweet thanks lads i think ill go with the percision and save some more and invest that in other areas of the build.. UM do you think you could sort me out with some bits??
-
Sweet, yeah that makes sense to me, my old problem is I no ill end up chaining numbers but not for a long time.. What sort of max numbers could I see with a head spacer do you think?? I no I'll be running water meth and could use nos in the future so I really think I'll go for a head spacer.. Should I stay with 8:5:1? Should I stay with the garret or get the precision 6176 turbo exhaust housing t4 96/ar they are almost half the price

iv spend most of my day at work on the net researching some more on building ym VR6T time well spent if you ask me lol after some good reading im starting to head away from forged pistons and rods for my power output, ( 400whp ) it seams most of the US lads are just running head spacers ARP hardware all round and achieving this power output reliably if this is the case it will free up almost £2k to save or put towards something in the build. what do you guys think?
-
haha no problem dude
-
that saves me a few ££ not getting valve springs ect haha.. yeah APR are high on my list and are a must, the rod and piston kit come with ARP rod bolts to thats not bad at all. ill be getting a SP intake. no, ill be having a fuel cell as the standard tank will be binned off to make room for the BMW rear subframe... thanks for the offer sleepymike ill have a think but no the turbo is not what im after
-
That has helped thanks dude.. I'll get in contact with United motor shortly, as for head work, I think I will defiantly invest in some cams now probably 268s but I'm not looking to rev much over standard but could be worth investing in valve springs, titanium retainers etc to keep it all safe to say I'll be investing £1k in forged rods and pistons.. Your right with the manifold I really don't no where I stand ATM, And as for the clutch I think I'll need to look into exactly what setup to go for as I will be running an R32/4motion box and BMW rear LSD for a AWD setup
-
i intend on going for a bmw setup on the rear to keep it AWD at all times also have a LSD on the rear
-
Im sure i fit in the slot of people who ask these questions on a weekly basis but im one of the people who will actually do it haha.. ok so the spec of engine ill be building to get me 400whp+ 2.8 / 2.9 ( OBD2 ) fully forged engine 8:5:1 MSD coils ARP fixings short runner intake large FMIC water / meth injection Oil cooler 044 fuel pump and swirl pot **GT3076R .82AR ( would this be a good choice ?? ) ** ECU wise is it worth going standalone or could stealth work magic on the standard edu ** unsure on what head work i should do as yet, iv read cams are not really worth it running a tu
