    Should say what max psi is on the sidewall of the tire. I generally fun 4-5 psi lower to compensate for heat expansion. On a low pro tire I've always saw 45psi? "Use to work at a tire shop" but that was awhile ago.

    My 00 mk4 gti is a vr6 12v. It's a Wolfsburg car to boot! Don't know if being in the states matters but, I do know all you guys on the other side of the pond get the good stuff!

    In my car, I run mobil1 full synthetic euro formula 5-40. If tried a few other brands and IMO, mobil1 seems to make my car run the smoothest. As for your clunking sound, I wanna say that there's little clips that fit on the end of the pads to make them fit snug in the caliper. When I did my brakes, the pad supplier put those in the box. Didn't have to use them cause every thing fit pretty snug.

    Reviving an old thread. I have a greddy cat back and the thing sounds great! Good vr. "Rumble" at low speeds and higher rpms, about 4500, it kinda mellows out. Unfortunately, I can't finds anything anywhere about this set up.
