Just on fitting some led bulbs throughout the mk2 and obviously I'm In need of a flash rate relay.. anyone have a link for one or best place to get one.. I'm a novice with electricals so I'm literally in the dark ... haha ... Are they just a replacement for the relay in the fuse box or are they an in line relay between the indicators and loom [emoji594] ... Pic of my racecar by the way ^^^

Really liking the bay.. I think I would have colour coded mine if I was to pull the lump out.. but I do lik3 the stone chip look, great idea and protects the body in a massive way.. plus you can just wash it down and be good as new.. Keep up the good work mate

I bought myself a pair of brand new genuine hella standard tails at the vw festival for a 5 er. .. so with borrowing some tint spray from Daveyboy, I keyed them and taped up and layer down 5 coats of red.. The camera picture doesn't do them justice. . Look really nice and red on the car in person.. but it beats the bill of £150+ for OEM from Germany lol.. -

Yeah I passed a couple of new shape rocco's on the way out with full front bra's on.. unless you've just paid 5k for a custom paint job then I don't see the point. . Always gonna get stone chips.. just a bit too far I think..

I also did this. A quick 15 minute tidy up for the show, with it getting sanded back and hopefully wrapped in gold (Daveyboy idea) that's a winter project though. ..

Went over the mk2 with the machine and compound today and 2 coats of high gloss polish with a soft sponge head.. now it just needs waxing for the weekend my first ever vw show.. I'm well up for it..
