The bumper has a reinforcement bar that is discarded once the towbar is fitted as that then acts as the reinforcement. I've thrown quite a few backing pieces away from various cars as I always need a towbar. Not on the vr though!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

hi marneus, although I have no experience myself with ap, a friend of mine has them on his A4 tdi. He says they are fantastic by comparison to cheaper makes, they soak up the undulation of our roads without busting your spine. He has had cheaper coilovers fitted and after driving someone else's car with ap's, he changed within a week. He likes them so much, he recommended ap coilovers to me. Hope this helpsSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Nice 1 gilly, good work. I'm looking forward to polishing my inlet manifold when I've got some spare time. Are there any gaskets to replace when you bolt the mani back on? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Lowered with coil overs and 16" alloys
Bealieboy replied to OurVR6's topic in Wheels, Brakes, Suspension and Steering
I've driven a car before that when you accelerated it pulled to one side, so you corrected the steering to compensate, when you changed gear, it pulled backed the opposite direction, and reapeated through the gears. Turned out to be a ball joint on the rear. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

it's good practice to get you're camber + tracking sorted so as to minimise tyre wear and to try and counter that awful pulling across uneven roads. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I was going Motorsport stylie on mine but couldn't justify another £300+ on tyres. Gone for lenso bsx with tyres now. I expect I'll chop and change anyway. The car looks daft at the mo as it's not lowered yet. Looking at doing it next week now though, I looks like it's on hydraulics. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Blimey iceman, does that include purchasing the car? Mine stands me in for £2100 at the minute, I've still got lots to do to it though. I'd like to think I won't get to £3000 though! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
